[On Maine's ballot measure to repeal marriage equality]

Yes on 1. God intended marriage for a man and a woman. This country and this state was founded on principles taken from the bible. And in just a few hunderd years, things have turned around so far that now blacks, gays, hispanics, native americans, etc.... all have more rights than the descendants of the founding fathers, who lived their lives by the word of God. Something is going terribly wrong, and just keeps getting worse. If gay marriage is allowed, Maine will no longer be "The way life should be". Life was not meant to be like that.

Darn. If only you'd added something to hint that it was deliberately turned around by someone, you'd have a hat trick here.

Good! now explain that its an atheistic conspiracy and we'll have a trifecta!

Some facts: your country was not meant to be a Christian nation. Plenty of black and gay and hispanic and native american people live their lives by the word of God. And the argument that "if gay marriage is allowed, life will not be how it was supposed to be because it's not supposed to be like that" is a tautology, and proves nothing.

No, God intended marriage to be between a man and as many women as he could get.

And plenty of white people, including you I bet, aren't descendants of the Founding Fathers, so even by your own logic you've no right to have an opinion.

And, er, the Native Americans. They were there first. The clue is in the name.

Yet somehow you people always manage leave out the biblical principles which dominate Christ's teachings, such as care for the poor and sick, loving one's neighbor as one's self, and judging not, don't you? You spend all of your time campaining to make damn sure not one dollar of your tax money goes to give health care, food, or shelter to others. And while claiming to have respect for God and His creation, you fight to to take civil rights away from the 10% of His people who were born differently from you through no choice of their own.

And you already HAVE gay marriage there, you're just trying to repeal it. How has it hurt you up to now?

The failure present in that statement is too much to handle.

On what principles taken from the Bible was this country founded - apart from slavery, and we've abolished that?

Given Mr Jefferson's alleged proclivities, what about the black people who are descendents of the founding fathers.
