Great advice on raising a future serial killer, Ronnie.

Sounds to me like a person who imagined family life to be absolutely blissful, with children who fetched a pipe and slippers for their father when he got home from work and mother has a perfect meal on the table, made from scratch.
Then, reality hit him on the head and now he's pissed that his perfect image was shattered by a poop machine that can't take care of itself. Now he's all bitter and will MAKE that image happen, whether the kids like it or not.

Poor child. Sounds like the story of the Jessup family in the FLDS, where they hold the infant's head under the tap whenever it dares to cry to "break" it of its bad behavior. I hope someone call CPS.

That's sick and disturbing and your children should be removed from your care. Perhaps your children will have their own general goal to blow you guys to bits when you're sleeping.
edit: the isaccorp is trying to close down the places such as Hephzibah house that Ronald and his wife Patti run. Looks like they've got ole Ronnie's number. Ronnie is also linked with a man named Lester Roloff who spanks unwed teens. We're talking seriously sick and evil people here.

When should a parent start using the rod of correction on a child that the Lord has brought into the family?
Never.
Every discerning parent who has been blessed with a little child in his home realizes that his initial impression of the sweetness and the innocence of the child is in reality an illusion. A child very quickly demonstrates his fallen, depraved nature and reveals himself to be a selfish little beast in manifold ways.
That's right kids, you're all selfesh, evil, rotten little brats who needs your ass kicked for every little thing you do wrong.
As soon as the child begins to express his own self-will (and this occurs early in life) that child needs to receive correction.
Oh yes, god forbid a child actually has their own personality.
My wife and I have a general goal of making sure that each of our children has his will broken by the time he reaches the age of one year.
So, you want your kid to be an emotional pill popping wreck when they grow up?
To do this, a child must receive correction when he is a small infant.
Infants can't even walk. What are you going to do, "correct" them for crying?
Every parent recognizes that this self-will begins early as he has witnessed his child stiffen his back and boldly demonstrate his rebellion and self-will even though he has been fed, diapered, and cared for in every other physical way.
Yeah, god forbid a kid actually be a kid.

a. A child of a few months old does not have enough of a concept of self to express self-will. When your child "stiffens his back" and shakes his head, pushing away from you or what you're trying to do, he is implying that your assumption that he has been "cared for in every other physical way" is incorrect. He may be mistaken (you can hardly expect a baby to realize, for example, to understand that he's going to be going outside and needs warm clothes, even though they are uncomfortable in the heated house.) but he is not being willful, he is being a baby.
b. Even if he were being willful, the goal of breaking your children before they turn one is a disgusting one. Wild horses get "broken." Children should be loved and cared for and raised gently. It is entirely possible to raise a trustworthy, well behaved, honest and pleasant child without "breaking" them. When someone describes a child as "broken" they are generally speaking in the context of serious abuse. This is your definition too, whether you realize it or not.
c. I do not know where you live, or what the local laws are regarding what constitutes child abuse, but if you lose your children to CPS, I would be not the least bit surprised. Hopefully your children will grow up perfectly happy and healthy despite you, but I don't think it all that likely. Rather, I would expect them to keep insisting you were absolutely in the right until they're into adulthood, then have emotional breakdowns and end up in therapy trying to deal with your actions.

You should use the Rod of Correction only after you have worn the Plastic Bag of Incompetence, tightly sealed on your head, for at least 72 hours. God told me so. It's written down, so it must be true. Obey.
