Ban prayer from schools= ok
You can still pray in public school, you just can't make it required nor say which religion. I went to a private Catholic high school, so they could tell me.
I've been taught by everything from a Wicca (actually one of my all time favorite professors), an atheist, a former Rabbi, and a muslim in my time in college and none of them have told people they are foolish if they pray to this or that or none.
Abortion= ok
Abortion has been legal here in the States since 1973 with Roe v. Wade. Where have you been? If you don't like abortion, then don't get one but don't return to the days when women had to go to back alley abortion providers, which sometimes ended in their deaths.
Hell, I don't know what I would have done if I accidentally got the fiancee pregnant when we where in high school, with our next to nonexistent sex ed. Luckily we learned about condoms by way of my black sheep uncle.
Homosexual partners and marriages= ok
Just turn back the clock 40 years ago and you'd be asking why some states let a black man and a white woman or vice versa are allowed to get married I bet.
Also marriage is a CIVIL contract, most people just introduce religion into it for tradition.
In fact, the fiancee and I debated about just using a justice of the peace instead of a priest for a while. (We choose to get married in the church we where baptized in due to it's a beautiful church, despite us being both atheists.)
Cold blooded murder = pending
What does two consenting adults have to do with a person violating the rights of another?
Do y'all see the pattern?
No, but then again I seem to have a brain bigger than a walnut.
