I thought Christians were commanded not to murder.

You fuckbats have serious problems with logic. The only requirement for Atheism is lack of belief in deities. There are no prerequisite beliefs.

Natural selection refers to survival of the fittest as a species. One can believe or not believe in Evolution and Natural Selection and still be or not be an Atheist.

Survival of the fittest is usually a Conservative ideaology (although not necessarily always).

But all this is a moot point really as you're perfectly ok justifying murder when it suits your agenda.

So I offer you a big pile of fuck you.

Survival of the fittest refers to a scientific theory.

ethics =/= scientific theory

GET THIS IN YOUR FUCKING HEAD.

Right, because atheism is a rival dogma with rival "teachings" from rival prophets and gurus. Basically Christianity's evil twin, because how could there be anyone who doesn't live by doctrines and holy books?

Natural selection means "if you survived, you were good enough", not "if we don't think you're good enough, we kill you". It's descriptive, not prescriptive or normative. Not that you'd understand the difference; you have this same issue with gay marriage. Legalizing gay marriage just means it's legal; it doesn't make it good, it doesn't make it bad, it doesn't mean it's the preferred option, it just means that if you WANT to, you CAN. Most people won't take advantage of the option, but we're not trying to get most people to take advantage of it, either.

Fittest = Most adapted to live in a certain environment. Since humans can only function properly in societies, being the 'better' murderer doesn't mean being fitter, on the contrary!

But of course, don't expect a fundie to actually know how survival of the fittest actually works. The first thing I ever properly learned about evolution (in high school no less) was that 'fittest' doesn't necessarily means 'strongest'.

"I thought athiests believed in survival of the fittest."

And I thought christianists believed in: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you?" And, "Turn the other cheek." And the parable of the good Samaritan.
Unless you're all just a bunch of hypocritical douche bags ... Oh, wait.

Even assuming, for the sake of argument, that scientific theories are prescriptive, I doubt that going to prison for the rest of your life for murdering someone does much to increase your reproductive success.

"I thought athiests believed in survival of the fittest."

You thought wrong. Period.

Then again, coming from Rapture Ready, thinking wrong must have become a habit for you...when you bother to engage your (according to you, God-given) brain and think at all, that is. *sad sigh*

What part of "Thou Shalt Not Kill" do Christians not get?

Come here and say that to my face you motherraping little cumbubble! I'll display, with great precision, what the word survival means and how important it is to have the fucking chance to.

And I still won't kill you, because unlike repugnant, hypocritical fundamentalist little bags of puke like yourself, I understand that murder is murder, no matter who the target is.

In closing, I hope somebody fucks you in the ass with a rake.

And I thought Christians had better morals than atheists (at least, that's what you people always say).

I guess that was just as wrong as your statement.
