Personally, I'm kinda worried about the day that Mr. Anderson makes good with all these threats he's spewing.
"God never "felt" anything about it, he commanded it and said they should be taken out and killed."
God (through Jesus) also commanded that if we are compelled to sin, we should cut off the offending body part rather than continue (Mat. 18:8-9, Mat. 5:30, Mark 9:43). I don't exactly hear Mr. Anderson calling out to his congregation about crippling themselves, blinding themselves, or cutting out their own tongues, now do I?

The same god ordered genocides against unbelievers and told, that you have to murder yourown family members if they believe in other gods and to killall members of a town, if they harbored a preacher of a foreign religion without stoning him.
The same god also ordered that a married woman should be stoned if shewas raped within a city and didn´t scream loud enough and that an unmarried woman would have to marry her rapist if she was raped.
Well, if you like the rules from the old testament, then emigrate to an islamist country. Most of the rules that you have under the shariah are equivalent to the rules you can find within the old testament

Fortunately the western world is more just than the world that was described within the old testament ;)

1)Having the death penalty for crimes that don't involve murder encourages rapists, kidnappers, etc. to kill their victims, to keep them from talking to the police. They have nothing to lose.
2) The difference between rapist and homosexuals is that gays aren't victimizing ANYONE.
3) No, being gay is not infectious, just as being attracted to blondes or redheads isn't contagious. I have numerous friends and acquaintances who are either gay or bisexual, and I've yet to catch teh ghey. None of them have caught teh straight from me either.
4) Homosexuals had nothing to do with the fall of any empire. Poor military decisions, unjust leadership, etc. always factored in.
