That's the thing with you racists, you don't see all humans as individuals, you just see them as pure statistics. You have no empathy for your fellow human beings, you just don't give a fuck. Uptown, my neighborhood in Chicago was once a violent ghetto 30 years ago, but once people started taking a part in their community, giving kids a place to go after school, building centers for the poor and underpriveleged, crime went down and guess what? It's now one of the most rapidly gentrifying neighborhoods in the city! See these kinds of problems have solutions but peoplelike you don't give a fuck about solutions, you just want any excuse to justify your prejudice.

There are good and bad individuals in every group but at some point you have to face the uncomfortable fact that blacks, even in rich/progressive societies like the United States or Europe, create problems which are completely disproportionate to their numbers.

Most recently, since 2000, gentrification has spread north from neighboring Lakeview and south from Edgewater. Median condo prices jumped 69.1% from 2000-2005. In addition, the white population has jumped 10% since 2000 with the black population falling 12%.[6]

less than $50.
What about figures for other types of crimes? According to the U.S.
Department on Justice, property and drug offenses account for 76.4 % and
56.4% respectively of crimes by individuals admitted to Federal and State
prison for the first time. Most criminal convictions are, therefore, not for

Obviously black communities have problems that need to be dealt with. An unfortunate side-effect on gentrification is that it tends to push the poor along with their problems into other neighborhoods. it's extremely easy for people like you to say it's only about race, but you are simply blind to the problems faced by these communties.

Correlation =/= Causation. By the way, I just so happen to live in Chicago, right near up down. Do you know WHY 12 percent of the black people left Uptown? The main problem with Uptown is that it has been traditionally a dumping ground for tramps of all sorts with mental issues but also, mostly because:

A. The crime was too high
B. They got enough money and were finally able to leave Uptown
C. The black people that were there, with mental issues, finally got relocated to places where they could get better help.
D. If pricing in housing go up, the more economically disadvantaged leave. Poverty is a source of crime, whether or not it's violent.

Ten percent more white people doesn't change a neighborhood's amount of crime, ten percent more affluent people changes the "amount" of crime.

The people that currently live there are products of gentrification, meaning they are more affluent black people and whites combined.

See, you accuse me of manipulating statistics but that's exactly what you are doing. "Most criminal convictions are, therefore, not for
violent crimes", that's certainly true, but how is that relevant?

You are trying to argue that drug-related offenses explain a sizable part of the black-white difference in incarceration rates. Regardless of whether you think drugs should be legal or illegal, this is off-topic. My point was that blacks are disproportionately represented in crime statistics for grave offenses like murder, rape, assault and violent crime in general.

I clearly state that blacks are more targeted by the police, and blacks so happen to be a minority. Latinos are also disproportionately targeted by the police. These two groups are the largest minority groups in the United States. The other "minorities", the Asians, are usually not poor by their countries standards: they had the money to get out of their said country.

Your chart provides only absolute numbers, not crime rates. It is hardly surprizing to see that most murders occured in urban areas given the fact that most Americans live in urban areas. I don't doubt that cities tend to have higher murder rates but I doubt that it completely accounts for the large discrepancy between these states.

Sorry, Latinos are poorer than blacks on average but they usually commit less crime.

I've lived in Europe for most of my life and I've seen the same thing over and over again: Asian immigrants tend to do well and become relatively wealthy and educated after one or two generations but African immigrants (who presumably also had 'the money to get out of their said country') rarely do anything productive and ruin everything around them. But I guess it's all part of a worldwide conspiracy to keep blacks down and deprive them of their much-deserved success.

I don't consider having a bag of pot or a rock of crack "bullshit charges" but that wasn't even my point. If you follow the link I provided, you'll see that blacks, who represent 12-13% of the population, usually commit around 50% of the murders and 40% of all violent crime.
