Quote# 67750

Actually I love AIG and the museum. I donated alot of money to see that museum built. I know I will be rewarded for that in heaven. I know that I helped put a dent in Satan's plans and a thrin in his side to slow him down. That makes me smile knowing that children do have a choice between good and evil and that the truth is making a comeback.

Since kids are brainwashed with evil at school, (teaching of socialism, evolution, sex, gayism, etc.) we as church members and parents can counter that negative culture at home by monitorijng what the kids are being taught at school and explaining why evolution is wrong , anti-Church, and why it's in the textbooks and why the Binle is right and the ultimate book tjey should refer to in any situation, especially a school situation.

believe it or not, we are makimg headway. If you don;t believe it, try teaching evolution in a Mississippi high school class. The students will pass the test on evolution just fine., Theur answers will follow the lesson in the book to a "T". It's their hearts that are doubting what's the book says. Many students just put down the correct answer according to the book to satisfy the teacher. it doesn't mean they actually believe evoltuion ever happened.

Even when I was in college (10 years ago) our physical science survey professor got laughed at by three out of four students in the class when he tried to force us to accept evolution. Our faith and ou learning through the last 18 - 20 years at church countered his anti-faith message. Luckily he dropped the subject and moved on when he realized he was outnumbered three to one.

This is the stuff dreams are made of an why if so dearly and financially support AIG and the creationism movement whenever I can. I know that the future of civilization depends on people who know the truth or our existance and the purpose behind our universe that God spoke into existance some 6000 years ago.

I will continue to be a thorn in the side of evolutionary teaching until the day I die and I will do everything in my power to make sure that children know to reject this evil teaching with scripture when presented in the classroom.

The war is far from over my friend. It has only begun.

All that college learning and yet your spelling, and sentence structure is atrocious. We won't get into the fundie side of things because everything here is laughable at best and pitiful at worst

I'd be depressed, but since you're lying your fundie ass off it's funny instead.

Why the fuck would a Mississippi high school class be a barometer for anything?

Yeah. Me too. Like when I knock a glass off the table, I know the invisible almighty hand of God comes down and dashes the glass to the floor. The idea that gravity operates independent of God is what Satan wants us to believe. He knows that God never accomplishes anything by setting up natural laws like gravity and allowing them to operate by themselves without His divine assistance. The same with light. When a photon of light reaches a window, it has to decide whether to go through or reflect back into the room. Try asking a scientists why some photons go through and some bounce. Hah! They don't know, do they?!! Because God chooses Himself for every photon! Even your watch crystal or your eyeglasses!. Also, how about electrons? Do you think they just fiddle around to form molecules by themselves? Of course not. God attaches atoms to each other one by one all over the universe.

Yeah - even the molecules in our brains. God controls every electrical signal. A problem with free will? Well, OK, maybe not every electrical signal. OK, maybe not any of them. Yeah, I guess maybe there are some natural laws. But they damn doggone sure don't apply to genetics or DNA. Anybody who thinks the DNA in eggs and sperm combine to form a new human being by simple natural chemical laws is a Satanist, or maybe even a Roman Catholic! We know God personally creates every human being. OK, sure, it looks like chemistry. But it isn't. It's like when my cousin's friend at the feed lot won the lottery for $50 thousand. He was a good Baptist who believed in the Bible, so God rewarded him.

My brother George? Sure he believes in Jesus - he's a pastor at the independent Baptist Church of Jesus Christ the Almighty Savior, isn't he? Yeah, he's got prostate cancer - so what? That's just God testing him. Yeah, he prayed, but sometimes God has His own plan for you and He's staying the course.

OK, forget it. I can tell you're one of them damn doggone atheist, latte-sipping, Volvo-driving, homo-loving Yankee liberals who's going straight to hell for your failure to accept the story about the talking snake. And damn doggone good for you, too!!!!

"Gayism"?? Really??

I have to rate this one high just for that made-up word. As if homosexuality is some sort of philosophy or something! LOL

Even when I was in college (10 years ago) our physical science survey professor got laughed at by three out of four students in the class when he tried to force us to accept evolution.

Could it be those kids laughed at him because they were too brainwashed to even sit an listen to someone of an opposing veiwpoint.

For someone who is a christian college graduate, you think they'd know how to spell "bible".

"physical science survey professor got laughed at by three out of four students in the class"

"he was outnumbered three to one."

Looks like you mastered basic Bible-based math just fine there, bub. Or were there really only four people in your class, and the fourth one left when he realized what a shitty university he was in?

"The students will pass the test on evolution just fine., Theur answers will follow the lesson in the book to a "T". It's their hearts that are doubting what's the book says."

In other words, it's perfectly acceptable to lie and deny your real faith in order to pass a school test.

"The war is far from over my friend..."
War?
Don't talk to me about war.
I had to go to a war and not by choice.
Your Jesus is supposed to be all about peace and love.
Now, here, I see you talking about war.
Get your war out of here you lousy bastard.

Ooh, they're not True Christians then, a True Christian would never give in to Satan so much as to allow another viewpoint enter their minds.

Also, John, you are the latest winner of the Internet. Where should it be delivered?

In 2007, a study compared U.S. states' math and science education rankings to those of other countries as a whole. Mississippi was the lowest state in both subjects, on par with Bulgaria in terms of mathematics and Romania in terms of science.

You must be so proud.

"I donated alot of money to see that museum built. I know I will be rewarded for that in heaven."

Well, good. At least you're doing it for the right reason.

So, do you all work in the same McDonald's?

"This is the stuff dreams are made of an why if so dearly and financially support AIG and the creationism movement whenever I can."

So much ignorance and lies and such a deep-seated hatred for reality and the truth. I'm convinced that this kind of person is brain damaged and/or mentally ill and beyond any hope.

Time to bypass these fools and leave them to wallow in their wilful ignorance and time for sane society to ostracise them and make very clear that such egregious lies to children will not be tolerated. It's also time that so-called "mainstream" christians stood up to these liars and told them "not in my name".

I'm thinking this is a poe. I mean, seriously, who cites Mississippi high schools as the gold standard of modern education?

I understand why people oppose Darwin's writings and evolution and all that because it's at odds with their religious beliefs. But Darwin's stuff was a part of science advancing. I sometimes wonder that if they all had their wish and willed Darwin's book out of history what kind of effect that would have on the state of science today.

Would we still belief in spontaneous creation? Would we not understand, let alone realize, genetic conditions? Some Christians preach against science so much, but I wonder if they'd really love the world without it.

Because you can measure the growing evidence against evolution by the antics of howler monkeys at a colludge in rural Mississippi. In fact, that's exactly how I became convinced by Creationism myself.

Incidentally, I'm a gayist. Long live the revolutionary dialectic of Gayism! The gays have nothing to lose but our plaid! We have a world to win!

"Luckily he dropped the subject and moved on when he realized he was outnumbered three to one."

Most likely because he realized how closed your minds were (are) and knew there was no point in trying to get through to you.

"Our faith and ou learning through the last 18 - 20 years at church countered his anti-faith message."

So. . . my 17+ years of "faith and learning" at church, including self-initiated study of creationism. . . what happened to that? Oh, right, I listened to people who actually knew what they were talking about* and noticed how much evidence there is for the theory of evolution (nevermind the observed fact of evolution).

*meaning people who've devoted much of their adult lives to the study of such things, as opposed to my parents, who know less about biology/geology than I did going into college
