Quote# 67809

I find this article hilarious; it it perfectly typical of the so called "scientific" community and it's own religious bias against catastrophic events and for evolution. Here is conclusive evidence for powerful forces acting instataneously on the grand time scale ("just days"), but somehow that supports some evolutionary scale process for everything else that they "know" took billions of years. This type of evidence surely must be atypical since it is the only type of evidence that we ever can observe and therefore could never support a catastrophic event like a flood causing the Grand Canyon. Isn't that schizophrenic? I appreciate the laugh, though. The state-funded and mandated religion of evolution pervades all official scientific thinking against all evidence. Not one single evidence for macro-evolution EVER found and a shockingly huge abyss of "missing-links" and yet those who do not hold this religious view in the "scientific" community are ostracized and not permitted to enter and thrive in their field. "Ignorant on purpose" rules the day, but too bad we couldn't just follow the evidence.

Is it just me or do all fundies seem to know just enough about a subject to come to all the wrong conclusions?

There is no evidence for creationism, give up already.

After all these years of arguing with creationists, I still don't know what the hell "macro-evolution" is supposed to be, exactly.

But that's okay, because from the looks of it, they don't seem to have any idea either.

Sweet Fancy Moses

I'm going to ignore most everything in that and just focus on this one point:

"Not one single evidence for macro-evolution EVER found and a shockingly huge abyss of "missing-links...""

Etcetera, etcetera, et-fucking-cetera. Okay, ignoring yet another point there, let's talk about macro-evolution real quick. Are you confirming that micro-evolution does have evidence, and certainly enough to prove it? And do you by any chance know the difference between macro and micro-evolution? Of course not, that means you'd actually have to have some understanding of evolution, and it's apparent that you don't. So, let me explain it in just a few short words for you: the only difference is timescale. Yes, that's right, time. So we have evidence enough to prove micro-evolution? Excellent, with that we also have evidence of macro-evolution.

""Ignorant on purpose" rules the day, but too bad we couldn't just follow the evidence."

How right you are.

If evolution is a religion, then how come evolutionist can't get tax exempt status?

Not one single evidence for macro-evolution EVER found and a shockingly huge abyss of "missing-links"

How about a little experiment? First walk up to a mirror and take a look. See the image? That is one HUGE piece of evidence of what you would call "macro-evolution".

Second, go find your parents and take a look at them. They are "missing-links" between you and your ancestors.

"...the so called "scientific" community and it's own religious bias against catastrophic events..."

Really?

K-T Extinction, about 65 million years ago. Wiped out the dinosaurs, and about 75% of all species at the time go extinct.

Triassic-Jurassic Extinction, about 205 million years ago. 48% of all species at the time went extinct.

Permian-Triassic Extinction, also known as the great dying, about 251 million years ago. About 83% of all species at the time went extinct, including 96% of all ocean species. 96%!

Need I go on?

Scientists don't say they "know" the earth is billions of years old through blind faith, the way you believe in the flood, they say it because it's a provable fact.

"Ignorant on purpose" certainly rules your day, but the fossil and geological records rule the science.

Well, if I remember correctly you (who believe in Creationism) have your own "Institute for Creation Research".
A private Institute which had lots of plans concerning the publishing of scientific papers that support creationism. Well, name me one paper that has been published by this institute so far (and which has not already been disproven)

Ug, I've said it before and I'll say it again. Go talk to someone that keeps reptiles - especially fancy morphs or even a breeder of fancy morphs. The ones sitting just feet away from me know more about evolution and this nutter.

Too true in this case. Oh the irony.

P.S. Theory of evolution is religion in the same extent as theory of gravity is religion. Long live Gravity!
