The underlying point is that Christian Chirp is required because Twitter has no pro-God policy.

""No god" wasn't just taken off the list, those tweets were counted toward the "know God" topic, so the more atheists tweeted, the more popular the Christian topic looked. "

I forgot about that. That was even more obnoxious. And yet you guys still need your own damn Twitter?

Wow, of course on Conservapedia (or as I like to call it, Dictionary of Bull), some of the posters are blaming it on Liberals because that is what Liberals do: shut down diversity at every turn!

On the contrary, being there was no evidence there was a Liberal behind the attack, it was probably just some hacker with nothing better to do. Then again, evidence is optional at Conservapedia, so I am not surprised.

So the absence of a "pro-God" policy, in your minds means an explicit "anti-God" policy? Wow, your faith is so strong that any views to the contrary will disrupt it. Then again, you guys just keep living in your own little world, that way the rest of us can carry on out here in reality.

Damn it Conservapedia. Now I wonder just how many sites on the internet have pro-God policy. And pro which god policy. And there is no way to find out.

Damn it!

"Wait...what? You won't touch something until it SPECIFICALLY SAYS that it's Christian?"

New product hitting the market:

Jesus air!

Tired of unholy oxygen, sinful nitrogen, and just plain blasphemous gases occupying your lungs? No more! For only $39.99 a month, we will deliver to you oxygen specifically blessed by the religious leaders of your choice.

Idiots... Would probably be able to make a killing, just like Christian Salt.

Yar, social networking is *so* much better when you use a completely non-compatible competing website cut off from the rest of the microblogging world.

And "pro-God policy" just means that whatever you do must be ideologically motivated. The strength of many non-ideological websites like Twitter is that they allow people to do pretty much anything. You don't need to limit yourself to think what passes for acceptable communication in the "safe haven for Christians".

For god's sake, "no god" was not shut down, it was just put together with "know god"!

It's true, Twitter is of the devil, much like Myspace and Facebook.

Using any of them is the closest thing to sin one can manage.

Unfortunately most, if not all, Christian fundies think that every single little thing we do every day has to praise God in some way. So if something's not specifically pro-God, it must be evil.

I really hate Christians' "If your not with us, you're agin us" attitude.

That whole thread is filled with phail. MZ seems to have this bizzare idea that if his critics aren't being censored then it's him being censored, as if for him to be be free, he has to stamp on the freedoms of others.

But I like Twitter!

@ Noir the Sable - I was part of a community site for support once upon a time, and there was a section named "Spirituality." (as opposed to "30 Year Olds" or "Sportsfans") Not more than a few hours would go by before some newbie would come in, start a new thread complaining there were pagan threads, native threads, No True Christian (TM), and - heaven forbid - Catholic threads in the board called "Spirituality." The bashing then would start between the newbie, the born agains, and the small sect of VERY militant Wiccans. I've been off there for a long time... on the other hand, quotes I got from there made the mainpage here, so there was some fun to be had.

Poor god. I feel sorry for him, he's so weak and ineffectual he needs christians to defend him against a crummy internet fad. Methinks he needs a hug and a warm cup of cocoa.

Seriously how shitty would you feel if you went from the supreme ruler of the universe, capable of creating or destroying anything that you wanted to being a sad, pathetic lump who can barely get out of bed in the morning. *takes out violin and begins playing sad song for god.*

Please dear god feel the same way about your own country without nuclear weapons. Please. We'll give you and your ilk Australia and anyone who wishes to go with you can. You an reintegrate at any time under the understanding that you have to let others do whatever they wish so long as it causes no harm. Intolerant fundies of other religions can have surrounding islands and if need be Canada and Texas.

Alright, this is getting just a little bit out of hand. They've got a Christian Wikipedia (conservapedia), Myspace (mychurch), YouTube (tangle) Superheroes (like bibleman - hillarious), and now they want their own Twitter. It's almost as if they need to create their own little world where they're free of common sense.

Why this urge to intellectually isolate yourself from...everything? There are even Christian dance studios, big band charts, and I've even heard of Christian erotica.
