Do you think that Christian-based science and techonology is the most cutting edge science their is?

Christian-based science, technology, and biology are quickly eclipsing the secular sciences. Studies have shown that by 2020 many of todays secular sciences will no longer be relevant and that Christian-based versions will replace them by that year.

(Option 1) Yes, studies prove this

(Option 2) Yes, but secular science is also relevent

(Option 3) No, but I know very little about science

Wow. What a world-changing poll. But not as world-changing as that also on Facebook, which ensured Rage Against The Machine - specifically "Killing In The Name" - got the Xmas No. 1 here in the UK.

As proved by said anti-"X-Fucktor" Facebook campaign. It worked for Star Wars fans (during the previous Census here in the UK; what started as a joke resulted in said campaign succeeding where the Church of $cientology had failed for decades to do - become a legally recognised religion. But 'Jedi' is, here), and Barack Obama recognised how it was a vital tool in his election campaign. The rest is history.

Exactly what studies show that Christian based versions of any science will eclipse normal sciences? Oh, I get it, it must have been a study performed by one of those Christian scientists, where actual evidence doesn't matter, just put down whatever sounds good.

And if Christian scientists can't even get a paper published on "Intelligent Design," nor even get any kind of experiments started, then how are they supposed to replace secular science by 2020? Sounds like they have a lot of work to do, like a few hundered years' work in about 10 years' time.

And I like how the three options are either "Yes I agree with you 100%," "Yes I agree with you somewhat," and "No, but I'm a dumbass." So anyone who doesn't agree with you has to admit that they're stupid.

Oh wow. We got us a long one here...

1) "There," not "their."

2) Christian-based "science," if I must debase the term, is nothing more than a feeble attempt to regain the hold that the Christian religion once held over people's ideas of the truth. Christians may practice good science, but their first step is always to close their Bibles.

3) There exist no such studies as you have described, unless you have a citation indicating otherwise. Please note that Ray Comfort's maniacal ramblings do not constitute scientific studies.

4) Setting up a poll without any options that contradict your beliefs is exactly the wrong way to gain information. With an honest poll, you might actually learn something--but then, I gather than learning was never your goal here.

Honestly, this poll is so hilariously biased that I suspect a Poe, but the lousy spelling makes me think you really believe that... Tough call.

You mean like christian based genetics:
Take 2 goats (a male and a female) with the same fur color, let them mate in front of striped twigs and you get spotted offspring.

Christian based medicine?
Like the ritual to heal leprosy, which involves sacrificing a bird and having another bird that is set free afterbeing dunked into the blood of the sacrificed bird?

Christian based geography?
Like the existence of a mountain from which you can see all the kingdoms of the world? (regardless of the fact that such a mountain could only exist on a flat earth, butnoch on a spherical one)

Christian engineering science?
Like the design of Noahs ark, which, due to its size would surely be extremly instable and due to the fact (according tothe bible) that it only possessed a small window on the top would have doomed all living beings therein to a slow death of suffocation (not to mention the impossibility to get rid of the massive amount of waste products produced by the large number of animals, while at the ame time also heving to spend time to feed them every day).

...oh yes, that's right. It's a homegrown CPU, made in China*, that drives said Tianhe 1-A. In China At best, irreligious; and at worst - as far as you lot are concerned - Atheist.

The above, as well as China's state-sponsored pure research (fuelled by the pool of pure educated talent emerging from their universities), especially in Gene-based medicine etc, says otherwise. Stem Cell research. Unhindered by religion.

The reasons why China - in the next two years - is set to eclipse the USA in scientific R&D.

*- Funny then, that in all the time I've upgraded or built the bespoke computer systems that I have as part of my job (in a computer shop) the components I've replaced/installed - especially CPUs, HDs etc - were made in Japan, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea, and Vietnam. All Christian countries that are the centre of 'Christian-based science and techonology' indeed! [/sarcasm]

Mac OSs - Steve Jobs. An Atheist.
Linux OS - Linus Torvalds. An Atheist.
The WWW - Sir Tim Berners-Lee. A Unitarian Universalist (and therefore not a True Christian).
Telecommunications Satellites - Arthur C. Clarke. An Atheist.

I think it's time you - and everyone like you - clicked off that Web browser, shut down that computer of yours Anon, and throw it away. It certainly wasn't as a result of 'Christian' science (oxymoron of the century!) that such came into being.
