I, A full fledged Atheist follow the rules of society, my job and marriage vows. I do this as there would be reprecussions if I violate these, this is the reasons Christians also adhere to the real tangible reality of specific rule of CIVILIZATION.
I always think it's funny when Christians claim the Bible has been the template of civilization then bitch about how few follow (their) religion.
It's worse with fundies as they have no idea what the Bible commands them to do, they've never read it and their preachers only use bits of it.
Here's a great idea for a reality show, it'd have to be done by a secular company as Christians have no intention of ever exposing the real commands and edicts in the Bible.
"Biblical Adherance" would accept about twenty "real" Christians (fundies would be the best as they claim literal truth of the book and claim they already live it) and make them live in a village under ONLY Biblical rules and ALL the Biblical rules. Yeah, the dove-killing, stoning for minor infractions, ruled by one priest who answers only to God Biblical society. Modern laws not found in the Bible are gone. (of course actual stonings would be an "voted off the Island" event and you can't really kill that many doves over a season so we'd vote the Doves, infidels and spoiled kids off to.)
It needs a better title ( Midevil nonsense, Village of the Damned, What Now God?, Your Kidding, Right? Holy Crap,,,I'll work on it) but a show like that could get a built-in audience from both sides and create less fundamentalism as that's a fucked-up torture state shithole of existance. No one, not even self sacrificing monks live under that very long shittrain that is actual Biblical adherance.
