Quote# 69669

If you are able to read and understand what the Bible says then it should be fairly obvious that the end times are near. Most people today are unable to read or understand simple concepts, they just accept whatever they are told over and over again. When something is repeated enough it becomes the truth.

Vegetable Rights Activist

Thank god for my military grade Irony Meter. A normal one would have had a critical existence failure.

Your mirror is particularly shiny today.

Thinking Allowed

You know these industrial grade irony meters are not cheap. I just lost another one.

1/16/2010 9:30:55 PM

That's some hard-core projection, man!

1/16/2010 9:38:42 PM

If that were true, you fucktards would be experts in the theory of evolution by now.

1/16/2010 9:54:26 PM

Says the person who repeats stuff all the time anyway...

This registers a 9.48 on my irony meter. (Ha! It didn't blow up! I knew the adamantium alloy was good for something!)

Is this our first nominee for the Unintentional Irony Award 2010?

1/16/2010 10:12:18 PM

Hey Jsmythe, long time no hear!

I see your still as stupid as ever.

Pule Thamex

It's the done thing now. To complement their delusions and their lying for Jesus, they have poeing for Jesus. Personally, I prefer the delusions and the lies, they are usually funnier, whereas the poes, though I'm not totally averse to them, mostly lack humour and sound ridiculously forced. Although, the desperation for attention in lieu of the desired waste-clasping-moment is quite amusing.

Shiny mirror day?

1/16/2010 11:06:46 PM

"they just accept whatever they are told over and over again."

Like how people are told over and over again that the Rapture is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER YOU GUYS SRSLY?

1/16/2010 11:23:04 PM

Haha Hadron, that one goes to 11? It's one... irony-er.

For this quote we need one that goes to 15, at least.

1/16/2010 11:23:40 PM

Nope. If one is able to read and comprehend the buybull? It should be fairly obvious that it's the most poorly written, and reasoned, bit of fiction in the history of literature.

1/16/2010 11:42:21 PM

I must find a way to sell irony.

Soooooo much money here to be made.

Caustic Gnostic

Every day, the end time is 23:59:59. The next day's beginning time is 00:00:01. You don't need the bible for that, just a 24-hour clock. Fairly obvious, that.

And what's with the Goebbels quote, anyway?

1/17/2010 12:22:11 AM

Just keep repeating...real soon, soon now, real, real soon...

Decades pass

Really, really soon...

1/17/2010 12:27:16 AM

Damn it! I'm temporarily blinded by this guy's mirror!

"Most people today are unable to read or understand simple concepts, they just accept whatever they are told over and over again. When something is repeated enough it becomes the truth."

DING DING DING DING DING DING DING. We have a winner!!!!!!!!

Oh bullshit. You idiots have been declaring END TIMES for centuries now. And every time it doesn't happen, you bend the schedule.

And how did your computer manage to not implode because of the overdose of Irony?

1/17/2010 1:02:59 AM

Look who's talking.

1/17/2010 2:50:01 AM

Except, how do you reconcile all the criminal acts of your God - the genocides, commands to kill even children, human sacrifice to him etc...

When you have sorted that lot out, then come to me and tell me why you believe the Bible should be true about anything. And BTW, 'because the Bible says it's true' is circular reasoning and therefore invalid.

If only there were some way to harness this kind of irony; if only we could find a way to use it to heat our homes, or cure cancer...
