In my experience, arguing against Islam usually turns into a game of ping-pong and you find you've wasted much time and energy arguing against Islam, with little real progress gained with sharing Christ.
Muslims already know that something in their lives is missing, whether they share that with you or not.
Focus on Jesus and the basic gospel message more than arguing against Islam. Muslims don't want to even try to understand your arguments against Islam and they'll defend Islam to the end when there's just no reasonable defense left, simply because that's all the hope they know in this world.

The Quran is rather similar to your holy book. If you actually read it, you'd see how alike you are. I have just read some verses here and there, but I have recognized lots of texts from the Bible. The format is different, though.
YOU, of course, are prepared to understand their arguments against Christianity and would never defend Christianity to the end when there's just no reasonable defense left? Good for you!
What goes around comes around...
Pot. Kettle. Black.
That is all.

What's with the smiley? Honestly, I don't get why RR people always put those at the end of every other sentence. It doesn't even fit. Why should anybody faint from surprise at this part of the post? Gah, it's annoying.
Other than that: stupid prejudiced Christian, but what's to be expected from RR...
"The basic gospel message overflows with hope."
That's not hope, and I find quick use of a plunger can sometimes rescue the situation before it overflows.
Hi, god here.
Apparently some people are confused about my instructions and my personal likes and dislikes. They have even gone so far as to give me credit for 10 commandments, nearly a third of which relate to me. Trust me, if I had come up with a top-10 list child rape and abuse would have been included and I wouldn't have been such a drama queen to make three of the 10 about me.
For the record, the only thing for which I torture people for all eternity is the use of those goddamn emoticons.
Other than that, be cool, don't kill each other, take care of the planet and forgive me for that Palin broad. We were having problems with quality control at the time she was conceived. However, it's still on you guys if you do something stupid like elect her to office again.
Yours truly,
YHWH

And that's why Islam portrays people as basically good but sometimes confused, and Christianity has Original Sin and the dismal idea of two-thirds of the world burning forever because they didn't win the God Lottery.
Granted, both of them have the God-Lottery issue, but at least Islam acknowledges that people aren't all a bunch of loathsome Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.
"Muslims don't want to even try to understand your arguments against Islam and they'll defend Islam to the end when there's just no reasonable defense left, simply because that's all the hope they know in this world.
And now you know why we atheists tend not to try to argue with you over Christianity.
And nice generalization. I hate how Christians are so in love with Jesus that they think that anyone who's not a Christian has something missing from their life.

MUSLIM: Christians already know that something in their lives is missing, whether they share that with you or not.
See? It works both ways.

That's handy to know in case you're comparison-shopping for a religious belief like you do for a new car.
Bowen beat me to it.
Kudos.

There is an unusual amount of extra space in the average fundie skull, due to a very small brain size, and the walls of the skull are very thick and dense, protecting the brain from information.
That's why.
The Bible's pretty hopeless and loveless too, actually.
"Muslims don't want to even try to understand your arguments against Islam and they'll defend Islam to the end when there's just no reasonable defense left, simply because that's all the hope they know in this world." IRONY OVERLOAD. REBOOT.
Christian Fundamentalist/Atheist argument ping-pong:
Fossils?
Satan.
Light from faraway planets?
Godidit.
The problem of evil?
Satan.
Human civilizations over 6000 years ago?
Godidit.
Abortions? gay marriage?
SPAWN OF SATAN!!!
Etc
I am sure that Muslims feel the same way about you.
The fact of the matter is that neither of you has a leg to stand on and that is the crux of the problem. Since you are unable to use logic and reason to convince people of the righteousness of your position you wind up killing each other...and the innocent bystanders that get in your way.
For this reason, religious faith is the most dangerous thing in the world.

Which is why you & every Raptard is too shit-scared to debate with us at FSTDT. If ping-pong is the best you can expect with Muslims, frankly arguing with we Atheists would be like trying to play table-tennis with a pelota ball, with Jai Alai experts armed with cestas.
You'd only get hurt.
As one of your Raptard ilk, HisProudFollower, can attest to that fact:

"Muslims already know that something in their lives is missing"
My physician, a Sufi Muslim, is one of the nicest people you'd care to meet. An extremely intellectual fellow he is too. And after he & his family went on the Hajj, he now has a permanent smile on his face. And you fundies know that something in your lives is missing:
Reality. And facts.
You worship the same deity as Muslims do. After all, the common language of Biblical times & the area stated in said Bible was Aramaic. 'God' in Aramaic is 'Elah'.
'Elah'. 'Allah'. Hmmm, interesting...
"The basic gospel message overflows with hope. The Quran is a pitifully hopeless and loveless book in comparison."
Yiu clearly haven't read your Bible. From cover to cover:

We have. And now you know why Atheism exists, everyone on Ruptured Retards.

"That smiley would look much better with an arrow or knife in its back."
Though not exactly what you want, I have the next best thing:

By all means use it as & when you wish, fellow FSTDTers. Especially in threads relating to Ruptured Retards.
This is why I think education really needs to focus on teaching kids to think critically from a very early age.
So that they can go out and examine things like the Bible and the Quran and say "wait a second..."
The Bible is only "good" because they've been taught that it's supposed to be good. The Quran is only "bad" because they've been taught that it's supposed to be bad.
These people have been told to read the Bible by their friends, family, religious leaders but none of them have ever actually READ the Bible in a critical frame of mind.
Picture heaven as an island. Jesus is on the mainland dividing the sheep from the goats, He says, all you sinners get in the boat, the sinners hang their heads and get in the boat. Jesus gets in the boat with them and they sail away. The righteous cry out, lord what about us? Jesus calls back, all you righteous can walk over on the water.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
