As Christians, we are notorious for sticking our noses in other peoples business, which is one of the reasons why everybody hates us so much.

There is a difference between caring and overstepping.

1/29/2010 10:17:11 PM

Um, I've always cared about other people's problems, too. And I've never been a Christian.

I was born into a Jewish family but gave that up once I was old enough to know that being good to others didn't require you to be a part of any faith system.

It is when you keep annoying people, telling them they will burn in hell for eternity, and prevent population control laws from being passed are some reasons why people hate you.

The Skeptic Wept

Trying to force people to live according to your beliefs =/= caring.

Ah yes, you are so hated and persecuted, and this 'caring' you speak of is purely LOVE in action, and smells not a bit of persecution/demonisation/derision towards those who oppose you ideologically, factually, rationally and actually.

She's not kidding. They really think this. Statements like this really make me reflect on the twenty years I've spent on the receiving end of Christian "caring," and how great it would be for their perspective if I could share that experience with them.

1/29/2010 10:45:40 PM

Which would be great if you didn't create "problems" to justify your meddling. Not to mention your "help" frequently goes more to hostility than aid.

Hahahahahahahahaha! Good one ^_^

Unintentional irony is my favourite kind.

A lot of Christians admit they don't care, and they don't need to since they just have to believe in Jesus. They win.

Tolpuddle Martyr

Don't run heathen.

I'm here because I care, really.

1/29/2010 11:33:19 PM

For the most part, people only object when you try to run their lives. Real caring is not about bending people to your will.

1/29/2010 11:36:28 PM

Oh yes, you are so caring! Especially about gays and women's right to chose and anyone who doesn't believe as you do. To quote one of your favorite cohorts "thanks, but no thanks". You betcha!

1/30/2010 12:09:03 AM

You don't care about people, just their imaginary "souls" and how they might be added to your gods collection.

@ Epic Wolf

Well put!

The Jamo

Great! Then why can't you just take the hint and fuck off?

1/30/2010 1:19:07 AM

It's not that you care, it's the way you care. So much Christian "care" has been identical to what everybody else calls oprression.

This caring has included torture, murder, kidnapping, war, slavery, assault and molestation. It's currently extending to denying legal rights to gays in the name of your ju-ju. Do you really not see why your care is notorious?

1/30/2010 1:36:17 AM

This guy is just delusional. I don't think I have strong enough words for what I want to say about this.

While I can't speak for anyone else, I don't hate anyone for being a Christian. I will respect and even defend your beliefs based on simple human decency. No, instead, I hate people like you, "azlan", for being stupid.

As Christians, you are notorious for invading other cultures, telling them what they are doing wrong, even though it's been working for them for eons, spreading your diseases, and wiping out cultures that refuse to bow down to your god.

Oh, no one minds if you care about other people's problems. You should just quit regarding people having other faiths than yours a "problem". Especially when many of you consider that a problem so big that it has to be fixed right away before you even start tackling other problems.

Mr Blur

No, it's because you're a sanctimonious moron.
