Epic Wolf in one.

azlan, youse guys 'care' just as you pray. Impotent and inconsequential. Irritating, if anything.

It's not caring when you're only doing things for selfish reasons. When you proselytize, you're serving yourself, not others.

No, you are hated, if that's the right word, for butting in where your help is unwanted.

When Christians, for instance, assist earthquake victims in Haiti, that's the type of caring about other people's problems that's to be applauded (with the exception of the misguided souls who were taking Haitian kids out of the country without permission, but I'm willing to chalk that up to good intentions outweighing good sense.)

Its when you start "helping" people by harassing them, when you start trying "help" people by trying to legislatively ban their "sins", etc, that's when you're hated.

I wish I could vote twice on this one. Wow. Just wow.

I've seen how your lot "cares" about gay people. I've read your posts which say that if poor people only gave they lives to Christ they wouldn't be poor. I've read about missionary programs in India that demand that impoverished parents have their children baptized before they will give them any food.

No one needs your kind of "caring." And yet, you continue it, regardless of what the subjects of your "caring" want. That is why people hate you!

Close but no cigar.

See, if they were actually problems and you provided practical help with them instead of just telling people what to do with themselves, maybe your "caring" would be a little more welcome.

As Christians, you are notorious for creating a lot of other people's problems, and that is one of the reasons why everybody hates you so much.

Posts like this make me think a award for succinct fundie speech is in order. This one, like a poet, has packed much into so few words.

Yeah, maybe, but more than not your solutions suck.

Let me modify a well-known quote from Ronald Reagan:

The eight most terrifying words in the English language are, 'I'm a Christian and I'm here to help.'

Caring =/= to meddle with other people's private business. Got that?

If you really cared about other people´s problems, they wouldn´t hate you(the people with problems, at least)

Yes, the rest of the world hates Christians, especially the far-right Christians, for giving two shits about other people's problems and not for preaching hatred and God's wrath.
Could you be any more willfully blind?!

Not necessarily a strictly Christian value, is it? Anyone can care about other people's problems. It's called empathy, and it's something that any old person can do.

There is a difference between "caring" and "forcing your religious beliefs on people and damning them to eternal torture in hell if they don't believe exactly as you do"

5/31/2014 7:04:48 AM

Yeah, those Crusades were all about "caring about other people's problems", right?

If anything, it comes down to this fail concept.

There should be no social assistance so the poor and desperate are forced to accept the vastly overrated programs of the Christian church, which will force them into servitude for less(or no) assistance to assist in the agenda of Christian Soldiers for their attack on freedom.

You've done it before, we've seen it even in North America in certain times and places over the last few hundred years. We give you a little leway the Theocracy comes back every time.

The only hope this planet has is to free ourselves from religious rule (or dictorial absolute enslavement, same thing) there has never been a free-man state under religious statehood. The reason for that is it's the same as a dictatorship, there's no difference between a dictorial madman, a royal court of assholes or a theocratic rule. In fact, history shows, a whack job royal family can be an improvement.
