He linked Secularists to Nazis! That novel idea shurely will utterly destroy every argument the other side use.

Yes. Damn atheists with their lower-case letter "t" emblems! Damn atheists and the "Gott" they worship!

A church that meddles in politics is no longer just a church. It has become a political organisation and therefore should pay taxes.
Didn;t Paul tell Christians to obey the rulers? He certainly didn't say to get political and become the ruler.

Yes, it was a motto which didn't prevent him to use religious realia to stir the masses. Of course, there is the possibility that he didn't completely finished his German lessons. God knows.

Hitler brushed his teeth. DO YOU BRUSH YOUR TEETH, YOU JEW-KILLING MASS-MURDERER?
1/31/2010 9:26:53 AM
I read about the afterlife
GOTT MIT UNS!

Hitler was also a well-known breather of oxygen. Breathing oxygen is evil and all truly moral people should stop immediately!
1/31/2010 10:36:17 AM
What The Fuck?
American Idiot Association is a better name.
The German churches COOPERATED with the NAZIS., The churches were some of the worst nazi offenders in Germany. Many priests had people fleeing seek protection of the German churches for only to find that the priest called GESTAPO and now they are dragged out of the church and shot with the priest watching.
Go fuck a cactus, you braindead IDIOT!

Hitler believed he was up there with god.
Meanwhile (about 150 years earlier), the thoughtful people who wrote the US Constitution sought to make it neutral in terms of religion.
Thus, imo, Americans who attempt to push religion into politics are traitors.

Oh god Bryan Fischer, SHUT THE FUCK UP.
1/31/2010 12:18:34 PM
Hitler also ate food and breathed air. Clearly those things are just as evil.
1/31/2010 12:26:29 PM
Hitler wore pants! Therefore we should all go pantsless.

*Yawn*, the ACLU are Nazi, Stalinist goat buggerers? Of course Bryan, thank you Bryan, now please take your happy pills.

After an exhaustive Google search I don't find either of those phrases attributed it either Hitler, or the Nazi party, except in places reprinting from or attributing to Bryan Fischer.
In small in simple words, your reductio ad Hitlerum is a fiction of your own making. With malice aforethought you set out to craft a lie with sole intention of demonizing, by fictional association no less, anyone and everyone who does not share your view that church & state should exist as Christianity uber Alles, a view which also includes a vast majority, if not the entirety, of our nations founders. Further more you infer, if not outright claim, that all who disagree with your views on church & state are, at the very least, complicit in and supporting of the Nazi Holocaust, and that they wish to recreate such an attrocity in modern day America. All because they disagree with you.

If you knew anything about Hitler, you'd know that his first name is spelled with an 'F', as in "Adolf".
1/31/2010 4:37:55 PM
Somewhat ironic, inasmuch that if a modern day Hitlerian type rose to power in America, you can bet that the American Family Association would be one of his major backers. You would also bet that the hordes of fundamental cultists and assorted droolers would be all over him in adoration.

*raises an eyebrow*
Given recent American history, what do you mean, "if"?
1/31/2010 8:13:22 PM
I heard that Hitler ate lots of vegetables and lived a healthy lifestyle. AFA tries to promote this healthy lifestyle to EVERY family..COINCIDENCE?!

Kinder, Kirche, Kuche
Really, quit rewriting fucking history.

Citation needed. Now, please.
Hitler didn't need to silence the voice of the Church, he had lots of Christian leaders in his pocket already, waiting to do his bidding.
"the total takeover of our culture"? My dear Bryan, The US BEGAN with separation of Church and state. That IS your culture, stupid! It has apparently worked for over 200 years, why wouldn't it work today as well? Nothing much has changed, really, Americans have just gotten a bit more tolerant over the years. Clearly you missed that train...

Here are two official slogans or mottos. As I rehearse them for you, ask yourself where these originated.
* “Politics do not belong in the church.”
* “The church must be separate from the state.”
These mottos did not come from the ACLU, nor from Americans United for the Separation of Church and State, nor from the Freedom from Religion Foundation. No, these slogans, word for word, came directly from the mind of
Adolph Hitler Thomas Jefferson."
2/1/2010 8:43:39 AM
Can we make a new rule for the Internet? Any time you blindly demonize something using Hitler or the Nazis, everyone has to ignore you for the rest of eternity. I think this would make our lives a lot better, don't you?
2/1/2010 9:12:15 AM
Nice way to try to Godwin the Establishment Clause. By this logic, Thomas Jefferson was a Nazi, right? He was a firm supporter of keeping religion & politics separate.
