They already don't let gay people donate blood, you moron. Even though most of them are completely free of any diseases or disorders. And no, it's not just a "gay disease," but you of course are too ignorant to realize that.

that would make sense if the majority of people who had AIDS were gay and if lesbians weren't the demographic that has the least amount of people infected with AIDS. However, black heterosexual males is the demographic that has the most people infected with AIDS. So, fail.
My aunt's husband transmitted the disease to her. Both were heterosexual. No 'queerdom' (as you call it), involved. She lingered on and suffered for fifteen years before she finally died, and the disease had so eaten away at her brain she barely knew who any of us were.

Of course, it's people like Braybeard who take actions that most contribute to the spread of HIV among heterosexuals: they insist that HIV is a "gay disease". Graybeard directly contributes to his heterosexual brothers and sisters assuming that HIV-prevention concerns don't apply to them; and we've seen how that ends.

I'll give it to you that, if you traced the path of an AIDS infection, it most likely would get passed on by a gay person at some point. But it gets passed on by far more straight people. You could say that AIDS was a blonde disease, or a left-handed disease, and it would still most likely be true in that sense.

AIDS EVOLVED from Simian Immune Deficiency Syndrome. Currently it is believed that hunters became infected while hunting for meat. Then with the AID agencies going in and reusing needles to save money while giving immunizations, it spread rapidly throughout the population.
The only reason that it hit the gay population in North America is because Patient-X was a gay slut. He picked it up in Africa, and took it around the world with him while working as a flight attendant. And since sluts tend to hook up with sluts who hook up with more sluts... well you get the picture.
Oh, and homosexuals can't donate blood. However sluts still can. Personally I'd like to see the rules changed so that anyone who has changed sexual partners in the last 12 months can't donate, but I doubt the Red Cross would want to bring in that rule.

Also, there are no new transfusion victims, because the Red Cross tests every donation, and for anyone who is HIV-positive to donate blood--whether they know they're infected or not--is a felony.

With that in mind though, it does mean that the highest transmission rates in men, are normally among homosexual men. The Higest transmission rates in women is in hetrosexual vaginal intercourse.
Of course all this really means is that HOW you have sex determins you risk factor not if you are homosexual or not.

Same here, I just gave over the weekend. There is such a need for blood right now, and if I understand it right, all blood is tested for HIV so what's the difference who gives if we are all tested anyway.
It's a silly law/rule that needs to be changed.
