Quote# 70071

Also, just because a majority of American's voted Democrat in 2008 does not mean we Republicans are somehow in the minority. That statement makes no sense. We surround them!

Maybe the Republicans were just too lazy to get out and vote.

1/30/2010 5:29:01 AM

Fedup

No it means you're WRONG about everything

1/30/2010 5:32:46 AM

aaa

All right, they're on our left, they're on our right, they're in front of us, they're behind us... They can't get away this time.

"We surround them!"

Here's a cartogram of the 2008 election (a map that scales counties in proportion to their population):

You "surround" them, rrright. [/sarcasm]

1/30/2010 5:44:35 AM

If by surround us, you mean that whole "when he sits around the house he REALLY sits around the house" concept, then yes.

"We surround them!"

Cos ur fat!

"Also, just because a majority of American's voted Democrat in 2008 does not mean we Republicans are somehow in the minority."

Government of the people, by the people, and for the people - E Pluribus Unum ('From Many, One') means nothing to you? You & your ilk admit to being anti-democracy. Gotcha.

Why do you hate America?

"We surround them!"

O RLY?:

The facts prove you wrong.

@demodocos

When I saw your map, something clicked in my head. "What does that remind me of?" I thought.

Then I realized I'd seen this

here.

There's a metaphor for ya.

Reading comprehension fail - the original post is clearly sarcastic.

1/30/2010 8:45:50 AM

We surround them!

If that's true, then your party's political apathy allowed Obama to win. You put him into office, not the voting Democrats.

1/30/2010 8:58:07 AM

I gotta agree with the asshole to a certain extent. Obama winning doesn't mean that there are more Obama supporters. It just means more Obama supporters actually voted.

Uh, guys... POE.

"Veteran's Affairs (Why should I pay to help veterans have affairs?)"

Not a bit of a clue that s/he was being sarcastic?

1/30/2010 10:14:18 AM

Actually, yes, it does. Well, it means that the majority of the voting public wanted the Democrats in, anyway. Non-voters don't really count in this case.

Reckoner

You failed statistics, didn't you?

1/30/2010 10:43:41 AM

So... you're saying that Republicans are the majority, but are just too lazy to vote?

1/30/2010 10:51:42 AM

Doubting Thomas

I remember seeing a documentary where a Republican Christian smirked about Christians being able to choose who the next president will be because they're such a majority. Apparently they made a mistake this last time, because they elected a Muslim atheist communist liberal abortionist.

This site is really going downhill with the quote mining. It's sad really, considering what FSTDT was in it's glory years.

Here's the whole post...

All you idiot Dummycrats who voted for Barack Hussein Obama need to wake up!
He's a socialist mooslem who wasn't even born in this country and he wants to destroy America; the greatest best country God ever gave man on the earth!
Single-payer? Public option? That's just another word for socialism!
I hate Obama because he's a socialist, and I hate all socialists. I think all socialist programs are evil, and I think we need to get rid of all of them. So while we're doing away with socialized medicine, let's exercise some of this countries other socialist demons!
First, let's get rid of all the fire stations around this country. People should pay for their own fire protection if they want some. What do you think those firemen would be doing if they didn't have the government handing them money? That's right. They'd be on welfare! The last thing we need is some publicly funded socialist firemen running around deciding which fires are worth putting out and which aren't. I do not want my retarded child to have to stand in front of Barack Hussein-Hitler-Pol-Pot-Obama's "burn panel"!
Next, we should get rid of all the police departments. If you want protection, why don't you just hire a private security firm? We got a right to bear arms, so why should I have to pay to protect some Dummycrat who thinks guns are evil? Did you know that Hitler had government funded police? They were called the Nazis!!!
Next, we need to get rid of the military. It's one of the biggest socialist programs of them all! Ask yourself: What have they done for me lately? You know where else the government runs the military? That's right. In Canada! If you want your life, liberty, and property protected just hire personal free market soldiers to protect your house!
Next, let's get rid of all the useless public schools. If you want to send your kids to school that's fine. Get a job and pay for it yourself! I don't want to pay to educate your juvenile delinquent. Pay your own way, loser!
Also, let's turn all our public roads into toll roads. I don't own a car. I don't plan on buying a car. And I sure don't want to be paying for your driving convenience! If you want a paved road you can pay for your own. We don't need socialist roads!

And here's a few other publicly funded things we should do away with:

Water purification
The CIA
The FDA
Libraries
The good-for-nothing FBI
stupid EPA
911 services
The US Postal Service
Rural electricity (They don't need lights. They can't read.)
FEMA
The Department of Homeland Security
The National Park Service
Veteran's Affairs (Why should I pay to help veterans have affairs?)
Social Security

Long story short: Nothing good has ever come from a "one-for-all and all-for-one" attitude!
We have to stop Barack Hussein-Stalin-Hitler-Chairman-Mao Obama! Down with health-care reform!!!

Also, just because a majority of American's voted Democrat in 2008 does not mean we Republicans are somehow in the minority. That statement makes no sense. We surround them!

Smarten up, or else we'll do nothing but prove the critics right that we're hate filled bigots who quote mine and take things out of context to mock them.

Canadiest

I've got my suspiciouns that the vote was in the majority for the Democrats the previous two elections.

1/30/2010 12:06:02 PM

Shadoboy

Then it means you didn't vote.

Or worse, that republicans voted for Obama.

1/30/2010 12:09:52 PM

Matante

Wow, so I'm not the only one who thought that map looked like a cancer XP

1/30/2010 1:09:49 PM

I am inclined to say that it is a Poe... Not that I havent seen other deluded real fundies saying more stupid things, but this one took it to the extreme... as for "We surround them!", Isnt it a reference to Glenn Beck?

1/30/2010 1:13:17 PM

Berny

Someone is a little unclear on the concept of majority. The Democrats won with a majority of votes. That means Republicans were the minority of votes. You were outnumbered.
You guys seemingly being everywhere is an illustration of the squeaky wheel getting more attention concept. You simply won't shut the fuck up about it, so the media focuses more attention on you.
If only they spend a fraction of that time educating people on how fucking retarded most of your arguments are, we could get somewhere.
