Evolutionary theory has been dis-proven.
But almost no one who actually understands the theory agree with you.

Funny, that's pretty much what the whole Rapture idea sounds like to me.

Yes those evil "progressives" and their plans for bringing back slavery and going backwards to cave men rather than progressively forwards as progressives often do.

why-oh-why do they come up with such good sci-fi ideas only to take them as fact?

Actually, the theory is pretty solid, the only time it ever becomes political is when creationists and fundies baaaaaaaw to the courts (and end up losing) or use it in politics (and lose those too) and when they start up arguments against it by trying to poke holes in the theory so they can say creationism is true despite having no evidence, facts, or methods aside from the bible and 'godidit' (and lose those as well)

The Morlocks were the "overlords." The Eloi were the mindless sheep/food supply.

"Evolutionary theory has been dis-proven"
Judge John E. Jones III would like a word with you. Three Words: Kitzmiller versus Dover.
"It is a political front for the "progressive" agenda for global domination and population reduction, to about 100-200 million. They want us to return to a cave-man lifestyle, while they sit pretty in their mansions in the sky and lord it over us. Then they can have their pick of the "litter" of slaves, for personal pleasure and service."
The GOP, Neocons & Religious Right? Certainly. Thanks for admitting that, jamvaru.

Let's see: living like cavemen while dreaming of mansions in the sky?
Could there be a better description of Christian fundies? I doubt it.

It's funny how the ones always going on about the theory of evolution having been disproven invariably know nothing about it in the first place.

I thought it was conservative fundies that were going for mansions in the sky.

Um, no, that would pretty much be conservative capitalists, who are more or less allied to the fundie christians.

Hmm, fantasising about watching people you don't like suffer from the comfort of a mansion in the sky... doesn't sound like anyone on my side of the fence.
Now, can anyone think of, say, a message board full of Christians who spend every moment of their bleak, depressing lives praying for exactly that to happen (which it obviously will any day now, honest, the signs are everywhere)?

Disproven? Show me your evidence. Oh, wait, it's the Bible which can't be proven true any more than a person can prove that instances of shape-shifting in Celtic lore is possible.
And yes, global population reduction is necessary for the species to survive because we're rapidly reaching the limit of our natural resources.
