Funny, you people get upset when churches get burned down. Hell, I'm not even Christian anymore and I don't like seeing anyone's place of worship being burned down what with the fact that they're supposed to be places you can go to feel safe.

Free societies do not tell people how to use their freedom, even if those people tell free societies to not be free.
The idea, which has worked so far, is that people value the freedom to practice their own religion more than they value their desire to take away someone else's freedom to practice THEIR religion (or speech or whatever).
So really, if we were going to get rid of anyone, we'd get rid of the much more populous threat: You bible-thumping, illiterate waffle-house rats.

A free society is not free unless all people within are, indeed, free to express their religious identity regardless of their religion. The moment you start limiting religious expression as you suggest, the society ceases to be free.
