It took the Dems just about 48 hours to politicize 9/11.
Of course, the Republicans had far, far better taste than that...which is why any time they wanted to get their way, they'd start shrieking "9/11! 9/11!" to make anyone who spoke against them seem heartless and unpatriotic.

Yeah, no Democrat was afraid after that. No one liberal was reminded how the "it can't happen to us" mentality is blatantly false. Concern isn't just shown by screaming for the blood of those who wronged us. And most CERTAINLY not by taking it from those who haven't.

First, so disagreeing with an elected official is automatically bad now? I thought dissent was the cornerstone to democracy. Second, post-9/11, Bush enjoyed an obscenely high approval rating. And Third, when he starts stomping around, attacking countries wih shaky evidence, and blatantly against the UN, then guess what, buckwheat? Those of us who are not bloodthirsty warmongers are not gonna be happy, and are gonna speak out. Sorry you don't like that whole "Freedom of speech" thing.
