Yes, I laughed at the concept of Carbon dating. That was not directed at anybody in particular. If you are going to let your emotions get involved, then you should not be debating. BTW, I do not haphazardly make judgments on beliefs. I am very analytical and a student of all philosophy, science, and religion. Nothing I believe in is based on minimal understanding, except Faith itself.

Especially when you disregard it without doing any investigation of what it claims, how it works, what the evidence shows, or how it is confirmed by other scientific methods.

Even IF we accept (we don't) that it is hooey, there are many more radiometric and non-radiometric methods you will have to disprove. All of these, when applied properly, point to a 4.5 billion year old earth.

Given how you blindly accept without any evidence a 2000 year old book of mythology written by man, edited by committee, and mistranslated into so many different versions it's impossible to keep track of them all, I guess we should expect nothing less.

That's a philosophical premise, as valid as any and one that will lead you to a solid conclusion: ANY belief, discipline or lifestyle is a philosophy.
By it's very nature it demands NO adherence to a truth, evidences or historical value.
It is really only a title given to a specific ideology.
