Really, but why does evolution always have to be a 'lie'? Why are fundies never content to just say 'it's wrong' and leave it at that?
Claiming to know something all the scientists have overlooked is one thing, but claiming to know the intentions of those scientists (since lying is, by definition, intentional untruth) is something else entirely. Mind you, these are the people who claim to know the intentions of God with dubious scriptural evidence, so claiming to know the intentions of some mere mortals must be small potatoes to them.

pi=3.14159 is inaccurate, but it's a fact.
pi=3 is more inaccurate, and it's not a fact.

actually the difference between pi=3 and pi=3.14159 is in precision, not whether they are facts or not. you can use pi=3 to make a circle. just expect it to be a bit lopsided.
