(According to the site author, Jimi Hendrix was a psychic and clairvoyant, apparently)

Official scientific research from the U.S. government confirms that some people can "remote view" (e.s.p. - extra sensory perception). Our theory is that e.s.p. is a brain mutation in our species, but it's an ability evolved by all living planets as a defense against asteroid impacts, the colliding "predators" of planets. To alert us to the movements of space rocks aimed at the planet, evolution intends our perceptions to expand towards capacity to "sense" our solar environment. Rocks on paths that disturb the gravity fields of planets trigger "signals" through space. These gravity disturbances register in our brains as thoughts, dreams, melodies, equations, apparitions, premonitions, etc. We are all today becoming aware of how thought and perception itself is dedicated and destined to ultimately shield the planet from impacts. The course of biological evolution is specifically aimed to enable this symbiotic planetary "self-defense" capability in species such as humans.

Jimi Hendrix is the key figure and example for this theory. Hendrix was obsessed with visions of gamma blasts and asteroid impact, his life symbolizes the surfacing of this e.s.p. trait, "Rock", into modern consciousness. The first "Rock/Star" = "Asteroid/Comet/Gamma Burst" - the surfacing of impact awareness through his loud sounds of explosions and explicit verbal warnings about the Rock. All living planets eventually incarnate a version of Jimi - an unprecedented integration of systems and vision, the ultimate insights that intelligent species are evolved towards.

Our insights and theory are based on scientific research and explained in the book Rock Prophecy (Rock = Asteroid).

We're completing a film that presents the evidence.

There are no words for the insanity contained in those two small paragraphs (other than insane). I'm actually looking forward to this film you are allegedly making, it will probably be the greatest comedy EVER!!

Actually, "rock and roll" was originally a euphemism for sex in the early days of the genre's creation. Jimi Hendrix did not coin the term.

Purple haze all in your brain
Lately things just don't seem the same
Actin' funny, but we don't know why
'Scuse me while you kiss the sky

Purple haze all around
Don't know if you're comin' up or down
Are you happy or in misery?
Whatever it is, that girl put a spell on me

Help him help him
Oh no no... no

Yeah
Purple haze all in your eyes
Don't know if it's day or night
You've got us blowin, blowin our mind
Is it tomorrow or just the end of time?

No, help me aw yeah! oh no no oh help me...

I've gotta to break it to you mate; that guitarist you may have heard about with the astrophysics doctorate? It's Brian May, not Jimi Hendrix.

"evolution intends"
"biological evolution is specifically aimed to"

You have a fundamental misunderstanding of evolution. And of rock and roll for that matter.

Does the scientific research consist of sitting round chonging until you are hit by a moment of clarity?

Well, I don't know about the FBI, but the CIA and DoD have spent decades and billions of dollars investigating psychic abilities. Of course, the fact that they've never found any evidence that they exist is just part of the conspiracy, right?

It would make sense if this were written back in the 60's or 70's when people were generally still doing drugs, but it's not cool to do LSD these days.

Jimmy Hendrix started singing like 15 years after the term was coined. Please, do a little research.

Did anyone else have visions of Starship Troopers while reading the first paragraph about asteroids hurtling through space to destroy enemy planets? Sounds suspiciously familiar to ST's plot line.

Dude, Mobile Suit Gundam is not a documentary.

As for the rest of it, Jimi Hendrix was just a musician who wrote a couple of good songs, O.D'ed on drugs, and then died. He wasn't anywhere near a demigod, you poor deluded baby boomer.
