Indeed. There must have been at least hundreds of thousands of pregnant women drowned in the Flood. And hundreds, if not thousands of pregnant women affected by the plagues in Egypt; think of how many miscarried as a result? And woe to those poor women already with child during the time of the Old Testament:
Hosea 13:16: 'Samaria will be held guilty, For she has rebelled against her God. They will fall by the sword, Their little ones will be dashed in pieces, And their pregnant women will be ripped open.'
Oh, and the first baby born to David through Bathsheba was aborted - and not by the hand of man, neither.
