Astronomy is not the same thing as astrology. You fail at first grade reading comprehension!

Tolpuddle Martyr

Your sciency, biggie bangness offends my civilised decency...

In other words: "me noe understands yur big wurdz and baloney articile of siency stuffs. so yur a big poopy head and goddidit."

2/13/2010 12:22:06 AM

it's their not there

2/13/2010 12:30:11 AM

Damned scientists already getting to play Halflife 2 - Episode 3.

2/13/2010 12:57:09 AM

WE are not going to dumb down science for YOU just because YOU do not have a high school science education or a high school vocabulary. You are EXTREMELY ARROGANT to presume that we should.

2/13/2010 1:20:01 AM

It is Astronomy, not Astrology...
And a lot of the science stuff doesn´t need a PHD to understand...
the scientific understanding you get by science classes in a regular highschool will be sufficient.
If you were homeschooled by christian fundamentalist parents you might be out of luck however ;)

It's impossible to be sure with Rapturites but I think Alco may be a Poe

That articile was full of science balony that a civilized human would have to have a PHD to understand.

Oh, boo hoo, big fucking surprise - science requires intense, careful thought, and thinking is hard! Who'd have ever thought that worthwhile things, unlike religion, require actual effort?

Some things need a PhD-level intelligence to comprehend. That's just the nature of it all. And considering you idiots are always insisting that your god is infinitely beyond human comprehension, I really don't see why you're taking issue that the universe you believe he created is also beyond your own comprehension in parts, especially since it's obvious you'd rather demand that everything else be made easier rather than step up your own efforts to match it.

Somebody check your water supply. I suspect that alco has brain damage.

2/13/2010 3:31:10 AM

Quite the compelling argument from ignorance. *eyeroll*

"That articile was full of science balony that a civilized human would have to have a PHD to understand."

Heaven forbid you should ever have to crack open a book other than the Bible!

Like, for instance, a dictionary, so you can learn the definition (and spelling) of the word "astrology" and contrast it with the definition of "astronomy." Modern scientists do not read horoscopes. :P

2/13/2010 4:39:20 AM

El Zorro

The article is not difficult to understand; it's intended for lay people. That alco can't understand it is his problem.

Table Rock

I can't understand a word of Russian so everything they write must be full of "balony" too.

2/13/2010 6:33:43 AM

You do realize that a Christian Scientist is an oxymoron right?

2/13/2010 6:46:20 AM

Doubting Thomas

Scientists aren't the ones printing horoscopes in the newspaper every morning...

And if "Christian scientist" means a scientist who doesn't believing in the big bang, evolution, or any other valid scientific theory, can they really be called a scientist?

English - FAIL
Spelling - FAIL
Punctuation - FAIL
Composition - FAIL
Ability to be interesting to the rest of humanity - FAIL

Never mind, alco. All you need to know is, "Paper or plastic?"

2/13/2010 7:41:24 AM

Is it too much to ask that you lot of uneducated fuckwits at least learn how to spell before posting anything? A little attention to grammar and punctuation would be a treat, too.

2/13/2010 7:47:15 AM

That articile was full of science balony that a civilized human would have to have a PHD to understand.

The old "I'm too stupid to understand something, so it must be baloney" argument.

Is there a Christian scientist?

Are we speaking English or "fundie-speak"? By "Christian", do you mean someone who believes exactly the same thing as you and the other 60 members of your wacko fundamentalist church, or the other billion or so people who call themselves Christians?

2/13/2010 7:52:28 AM

"Scientists and there astology........"

Astronomy != Astrology.

Until you achieve that Ph.D in Cosmology, or at least in theoretical physics - or get a proper grasp (of the subject (and a clue), I suggest you & everyone else at Ruptured Retards stick to what you know best: peddling fairytales and watching Fux News.

'Facts are stupid things.'

"interesting aberration"

Was this a momentary image caught by a camera that if you squint just right and turn it sideways looks just like the devil? (whom oddly enough all rapturites recognize immediately)

And did the scientist mention that people commonly pick images outta smoke, fires, clouds or shadows?

2/13/2010 8:36:36 AM

The "PHD-level" article. I weep for humanity.
