<Talking about an interesting aberration in photographs of the Aurora Borealis>
Is there a Christian scientist? One that dosent promote the big bang and all that. That articile was full of science balony that a civilized human would have to have a PHD to understand. Scientists and there astology........

WORDS WITH MULTIPLE SYLLABLES, FUCK.
SOMEONE GET THIS ON A CHICK TRACT, THEN WE CAN DISCUSS.
That articile was full of science balony that a civilized human would have to have a PHD to understand.
Oh, boo hoo, big fucking surprise - science requires intense, careful thought, and thinking is hard! Who'd have ever thought that worthwhile things, unlike religion, require actual effort?
Some things need a PhD-level intelligence to comprehend. That's just the nature of it all. And considering you idiots are always insisting that your god is infinitely beyond human comprehension, I really don't see why you're taking issue that the universe you believe he created is also beyond your own comprehension in parts, especially since it's obvious you'd rather demand that everything else be made easier rather than step up your own efforts to match it.
"That articile was full of science balony that a civilized human would have to have a PHD to understand."
Heaven forbid you should ever have to crack open a book other than the Bible!
Like, for instance, a dictionary, so you can learn the definition (and spelling) of the word "astrology" and contrast it with the definition of "astronomy." Modern scientists do not read horoscopes. :P
Scientists aren't the ones printing horoscopes in the newspaper every morning...
And if "Christian scientist" means a scientist who doesn't believing in the big bang, evolution, or any other valid scientific theory, can they really be called a scientist?
That articile was full of science balony that a civilized human would have to have a PHD to understand.
The old "I'm too stupid to understand something, so it must be baloney" argument.
Is there a Christian scientist?
Are we speaking English or "fundie-speak"? By "Christian", do you mean someone who believes exactly the same thing as you and the other 60 members of your wacko fundamentalist church, or the other billion or so people who call themselves Christians?
"Scientists and there astology........"
Astronomy != Astrology.

Until you achieve that Ph.D in Cosmology, or at least in theoretical physics - or get a proper grasp (of the subject (and a clue), I suggest you & everyone else at Ruptured Retards stick to what you know best: peddling fairytales and watching Fux News.
'Facts are stupid things.'

"interesting aberration"
Was this a momentary image caught by a camera that if you squint just right and turn it sideways looks just like the devil? (whom oddly enough all rapturites recognize immediately)
And did the scientist mention that people commonly pick images outta smoke, fires, clouds or shadows?
Why do we ever bother to try and explain anything to these retards?
Alco, you don't need a Ph.D. to understand science but you do need an open mind and a little education, both of which you seem to lack.
By the way, astrology is the pseudoscience of reading the stars for signs and portents. Astronomy is the real science of understanding the universe.
Astronomy is the observation of celestial bodies. Astrology is a pseudo-science that makes vague enough claims that damn near anything you do would makes its "predictions" come true.
And yeah, scientists tend to write articles for other scientists. When they're ready to tell the public they use layman's terms.
If the article is too advanced for you, can't you just look at the pictures?
An Aurora Borealis is pretty, very pretty, regardless of it being a astronomic phenomenon, or just God washing his water color brushes.
Ok, I'm no rocket scientist, but I read the article and understood what they were saying.
Oh wait, it's Rapture Ready. No wonder alco had trouble understanding big words like location and intense.
What part of "it looks like a reflection off of a satellite" needs you to have a PhD to understand it?
And what in the eight circles of Hell does it have to do with the Big Bang?
Translation: "Longer than 'goddidit', therefore tl;dr."
Edit: personally I'm leaning towards lens flare, but without the original image file to study, and the exact time the picture was taken, I'm not going to stick to it.
Really, you think you need a PhD to read that article?

BTW, I can find you a Christian scientist, but I don't think you're going to like what they have to say.
Well, there is the Church of Christ, Scientist (who also put out the Christian Science Monitor), but erm. Yeah.
Also, wordfails. Astrology is not the same thing as Astronomy.
You can be a scientist and Christian, though.
a PhD to understand? no, more like elementary school... well that would depend on the school of course... poor child were you home schooled in Texas?
Why do you suppose it would take an education to understand science and a lack of education to understand a Christian scientist?
Sweetie, you may not be able to understand it, but that does not make it untrue.
Edit: Jesus christ, I just read the article. So, apparently understanding the concept of light reflecting off a shiny surface requires a PHD now?
You'd think that people like this would know all about shiny objects...
Whenever I see somebody write something like "Scientists and there astology" I can't help but picture a dirty toothless redneck in a ripped-up wife-beater saying "dem dere scientis' an dem dere astrology, durr". Probably not far from reality, though.
There are numerous scientists who are Christians. Many, if not most, of whom accept the theory of evolution as settled fact and view the universe as billions of years old. (Especially the ones who specialize in fields like biology, geology, and astronomy .
They could teach you a thing for two (million) about science. They could do the same thing with Christianity.
Scientists and there astology........
Yeah, and there psel , uh... spelle . er...uh...speeileng
Ritin' , to!
"Is there a Christian scientist? One that dosent promote the big bang and all that."
-Well, yeah, there probably is, but he wouldn't be a very GOOD scientist.
"Hey Everybody!"
- Dr. Nick Riviera
There are a lot scientists who are Christians. There are a lot of talented and respected Christian astronomers. Why don't you ask them about this? Because I'm certain that they'd agree with you one hundred percent. Despite, you know, devoting their lives to understand the cosmos and making contributions that their nonreligious peers acknowledge and even embrace.
And, yeah, no scientist who happened to be a devout Christian would ever promote the Big Bang. (Georges Lemaitre? Never heard of him.)
a physicist not believing in the big bang
a biologist not believing in evolution
a geologist not believing that the earth is 4.5 billion years old
is like
a physicist believing the sun goes around the earth
a biologist believing that we're made of candy
a geologist believing the earth is flat
is like
a creation 'scientist'
Confused?
