Part of what makes [American] Jews liberals, as Norman Podhoretz pointed out in his book, is a general hatred and dislike of Christianity. No, Jews don't hate Christians the same way blacks hate whites, with all that vitriol and such, but it's more passive, simply having no sympathy or concern for them.

Speaking as a born Jew, I don't really hate Christians. Sure, some of them are real fucktards, but I have a lot of great Christian friends, and I find enjoyment out of the really insane ones. The only way you'll find us lacking sympathy or concern for you guys is when you keep whining about being persecuted when you're clearly not.
P.S. WTF does that have to do with political parties?
P.P.S. So all blacks hate whites then? Is that it?
You mean they don't like christians like Christians liked them all down history?
Listen idiot, most Jews are inoffensive, decent sorts. They probably have assholes like you from time to time, though.
Besides, your lot are supposed to like Jews so that the Ratshit can happen. I suppose you have your white sheet with the eye-holes in the hood part nice and laundered for the Ratshit?
And given the tone of you posting, I am surprised that you didn't use the N word.
Hate does not mean what you think it means. Being indifferent to someone, ignoring someone, is NOT hatred.
Blacks hate whites? That's news to me. My second cousin, who's adopted, has really hidden her hatred well, my best friend, with roots in Pakistan has too.
I know several Christian Socialists. Neither of them is American, though...
Jews hate Christians?
Black people hate white people?
Have I been living under a rock? None of these things happen in my school. At least not to the extent that you'd be able to generalise it as all Jews and all blacks.
"Part of what makes [American] Jews liberals, as Norman Podhoretz pointed out in his book, is a general hatred and dislike of Christianity"
Liberal. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
And why would they have any sympathy or concern for a group of people who tell them that they killed their savior? Why would they have any sympathy for a group of people who tell them they're going to hell for not accepting the aforementioned savior?
And really, is it that bad that they don't hate you so fiercely? What's the matter, they're not feeding your Christian persecution complex enough?
Really? I hate Christians? Thanks for letting me know. I never realized that. I guess it must have been an act of hatred when I helped scrub the graffiti off the walls of the open and accepting church two blocks from home.
Now, as to blacks hating whites...I guess you must be right. Why else would my black co-workers stop and say hello every time they pass by my office?
"Part of what makes [American] Jews liberals, as Norman Podhoretz pointed out in his book, is a general hatred and dislike of Christianity."
Yeah, that's why in the 1930s the Jews in Germany burned down and vandalized all the christian churches, and then a few years later they rounded up all the christians in Europe and murdered nearly all of them.
Oh wait, that happened on the planet Opposite.
I went to the thread to get context, there isn't any, it still doesn't make any sense.
@ Agnostic Jew
They're mocking you with their politeness. You must scream obscenities in return. Well that's how fundies seem to see it.
I don't know, if every time a bunch of nutcases came to my people and murdered, raped, and beat their way through, while carrying a cross, I think I'd hate them too.
Isn't this another entry in the Fundie Redefinition Project?
Hatred (n): Failure to acknowledge the supremacy of white conservative Protestant Christians, and the unquestionable correctness of their opinions.
Speaking as a jew, I actually do hate Christianity. With all the vitriol that 'blacks hate whites', as you say (though I've never noticed blacks hating whites). I hate your pathetic triune god. I hate the way you take literally passages we generally gave up on millenia ago. I hate that your religion takes all that's worst in ours and all that's worst in Roman Polytheism and somehow comes up with something shittier than the originals. And I'm aware I might wind up in FSDT myself for saying this, but it feels damn good, so I'll keep going. I hate Christ. I hate the Apostles. I hate everything that christianity has given to the world and I firmly believe that we would all be better off if the spreaders of that Christian Trash had been executed enmasse instead of being permitted to go on ruining the Roman Empire.
In fact, regardless of how much I study history and view alternatives, I will go to my dying day believing that it is Christianity that ruined western civilisation, because it is essentially a shitty, stupid, shitfucking religion based around the worship of a zombie god who split into three parts and raped a woman to produce a zombie child that died to save us all from something you christians came up with from the opening chapter of our holy book when your church father were high as kites. But he only saves you if you believe in him, otherwise you burn in hell! So fuck you, Christianity. You know what? Regardless of my personal views on Islam or evolution or homosexuality or anything, regardless of what my own holy book says, I only ask myself one question every time I vote. Will this hurt Christianity? And then I choose the option that damages you the most.
Oh, and on the topic of 'Judeo-Christian values'? I promise you, if our Messiah actually does come, most Christians will be against the wall as fast as any other idol-worshipping pagans while the Muslims get to kick back and enjoy paradise with us. How's that feel, Craig?
.
Whoah. Guy above me scary.
Ancient Hebrews could be really horrific and nasty, like many primitive tribal peoples (and moderns with similar worldviews), in beliving that they and they alone had the right to exist and destroy all competitors. Medieval Jews, especially community leaders, could be really obnoxious in their efforts to keep their communities together and reject the societies they mingled with lest they be lured away. Modern Zionists can be kind of awful in their entitlement and unconcern for lives sacrificed to their agendas.
None of this is by any means unique to that particular religioethnic group, although the entitlement complex has a pretty impressive heritage, and none of it means that all Jews follow that particular line. Tribalism is a thing. Some folks got it. You are one.
So fundies don't have any idea where the Jews stand? Some love them, some hate them, some are indifferent. And we're to believe that the babble is the inspired, literal, word of god? Yeah, ok.
There is a lot of fail here so I am not sure where to begin.
1) Neither Jews nor liberals are defined by hatred. There are a great many Christian liberals and one could rather easily argue that Jesus himself was a liberal (or does that just make him a self-hating Jew?).
2) I have never seen any evidence for the majority of Blacks hating Whites. Care to provide some? In my experience we all get along quite well.
3) Jews do not hate Christianity. Judaism doesn't really hate anything. But it is difficult to convince someone who hates that they are not hated. It seems to be a fantasy amongst bigots that they themselves are the ones who are hated and are just acting in self-defense. And again, I would ask for some evidence here outside of the poster a few above this one and that radical rabbi who said that non-Jews should be slaves to Jews. Those are two very rare cases. But there simply is no concept of hating other belief systems (being proud of your own system does not imply the negation of others). In fact, I would argue the opposite and that Judaism is rather accepting of others given that the Jewish view of Heaven is one in which all peoples are represented and that it is assumed that it will NOT be Jews-Only. And there is no Hell and no eternal torment nor any requirement for belief (some will argue that there is a requirement of belief for those who are born Jewish, but that is as far-ranging as the requirement would be and as I said, that is an interpretation of the First Commandment and most do not see it that way).
4) What makes us liberal are beliefs like: all humans should be treated equally and with respect, people should take care of those in need, nobody is perfect but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't try to be better and to make the world a better place, etc.
Edit:
Sadly, this is not the first time I have seen someone claim that apathy / passivity was instigating and aggression.
Edit #2:
I almost forgot, here is an example of how much sympathy we don't have for Christians (/sarcasm):
