Yeeeeah, because respect for the rights and dignity of fellow human beings, in this case gays, is best expressed by showing disrespect for the rights and dignity of another human being, hypothetically a wife you've vowed fidelity toward... Makes perfect sense?

How do you explain Gov. Mark Stanford (R-SC) who cheated on his wife with an Argentine news anchor, Sen. Jon Ensign (R-NV) who cheated on his wife with a staffer, David Vitter (R-LA) who cheated on his wife with a prostitute, and Mark Foley (R-FL) who send sexually suggestive emails to a male teenage page?
Also, I have been dating (and now set to be married to) the same woman since 10th grade, we both support same sex marriage and we don't cheat on each other.
