Global warming is a world wide fruad and all time rip-off from unscuploius UN scoundrels as well as AL GORE,JAMES HANSEN,GREENPEACE,SIERRA CLUB, And its like with DDT it was banned becuase of lies and junk science

Let us pretend for a moment that global climate change (global warming is a misnomer)is some sort of grand conspiracy. So what? What is wrong with conserving, recycling, using less fossil fuels, and pushing for cleaner air? Are these concepts that difficult/painful for you idiots? .... And, ummm, go ahead and sprinkle DDT on yourself, your food, your crops, your clothes, etc. I certainly won't stop you. (Just keep it away from me).
You can't even spell, yet you think you're qualified to declare the collective data and opinions of hundreds of scientists to be a fraud?
Google up some satellite images of what we've lost in terms of ice caps and glaciers. Maybe you'll do better with pictures.
"Opposition to global warming is a world wide fraud and all time rip-off from unscrupulous oil companies, electric companies, coal mining companies and the dumb rednecks who are gullible enough to believe them. And its like with opposition to vaccinations, it is opposed because of lies and junk science"
There. Fixed.
LALALALA, CAN'T HEAR YOU.
WHAT DID YOU SAY, THIS LAST DECADE WAS THE HOTTEST RECORDED? BUT THERE'S A HUGE BLIZZARD RAPING NEW YORK, SO YOU CAN THROW THOSE TEN YEARS OUT.
It's interesting that he brought up DDT, since I'm fairly certain these backwater hicks must be huffing pesticides.
DDT was a lie? Tell that to your precious bald eagles.
And frauds only work when someone gains a profit. There is no inherent profit for either side in climate change; yes, corporations are the biggest polluters of all, but they don't have to shut down. All that's being asked of them is to clean up their act, something that would actually create more jobs since someone would have to research new technology and people would have to be trained in how to build, install and maintain it.
And btw, global climate change is very real. I went to the Rocky Mountains this summer and saw Lake Louise. The glaciers there almost reached the lake 10, 15 years ago but now they're barely noticeable.
DDT worked, it also poisoned wildlife... that would be why it was banned.
As for global warming, it also kills wildlife.
Fucking DDT? A chemical that has been thoroughly proven to harm humans and wildlife alike? A confirmed carcinogen? And you use THAT as your example of a fraud? Even conservative officials accept that DDT is dangerous. There's a reason it has been banned pretty much worldwide.
Go spray your flowers with DDT and let us know how that works out for you.
Hey Spurwing Plover, put away your DDTs
I don't care about spots on my apples, leave me the birds and the bees, please
Why don't you huff toxics like DDT, how about transistion mentals?
Take this stuff called mercury, take it into a cup and take a healthy sip.
DDT was banned because it killed people and animals, and keeps on killing people and animals long after we stop using it.
I saw a good quote today: "What if we create a better world for nothing?"
That's the whole thing, really; we want to make the world a better place, for us all. How is that bad?
"fruad (sic)"
"becuase(sic)"
Must be the DDT.
DDT did not cause global warming, nobody says it did. In fact DDT is still in use by governments when necessary. It's a potenet tool (which I think they should used against the pine beetle, but what the hell do I know). It's just with constant over usage of the product it seeped into the waterways and killed creatures at the top of the food chain.
Anyway, even if Global Warming is a 'fruad' do you really think breathing yellow air is good for you? I don't like yellow air.
Except for the part where the ban on DDT is a perfect demonstration of applied science. People, and many more birds, were dying and suffering reproductive and genetic damage from DDT exposure. We banned DDT and those problems got better. Pelicans, eagles, and falcons are particularly strong examples of humans finding ways to clean up our messes.
Applying all our combined knowledge to reduced emissions from generating energy is the only rational course to take. It will make the world healthier. It will reduce the world's dependence on Mideastern oil. And, here's the big one that the GGoPers and fundies will never bring up, it will create new jobs, new fortunes, and new industries.
Now, if one wants to discuss the relative merits of the "cap and trade" policies being considered? I might find a couple points of agreement with this freak. I think it would be much more effective to mandate and subsidize efficient lighting and solar panels, with two way meters, on every available square foot of roof. I'll go one step further and say that it's stupidity that borders on criminal to build a roof without solar panels.
A horsepower/displacement cap on car engines would be a great step as well. I can't think of a single logical reason why we shouldn't pass a law that states cars must be under a certain weight and under a certain displacement. The weight saved in the drive train can be used to make stronger frames so even the hysterical "little cars aren't safe" crowd would be shut up. We could be driving lighter, more efficient, cheaper, safer cars and all that need be "sacrificed" is acceleration. Plus, the real beauty of this plan is that we needn't go to radical new technology until it's matured. All that's required is smaller engines built with the same old technology we currently use to make engines that are too big.
If DDT was banned because of lies, then how do you explain that many species of animals are doing better since the ban took place? Like, I don't know, the bald eagle? You know, the bird that's the symbol of our country?
The physics was done in the 19th century, long before any of those people were born.
Idiot.
Now it's too late.
Thanks retard.
Oh no! What if we make the world a better place, even though we weren't an inch from total extinction yet????
Why would anyone concoct a "fruad" like this? Nobody is going to make money on it. On the contrary; we are all going to have to work together, sacrifice a bit of our comfort, so that our children's great-grand-children might have a habitable Earth.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
