Yes, but as soon as you start believing unsubstantiated shit like that in defiance of what rational analysis of the evidence tells you, you can't really trust any known law of reality ever again. You might just as well believe that gravity will reverse itself next week, or it'll rain elephants tomorrow, or that every second 50mm steel bolt on the planet will turn into custard in exactly 7.2 seconds.
