"There is no record of a cataclysmic event that destroyed mankind prior to 4,000 B.C."
May not have destroyed mankind, but came damn close.
2/19/2010 4:40:34 PM
Obviously the first thing humans did when evolved was invent the pen and extensive databases to store history.
Really, how naive and stupid do you have to be to buy that.
2/19/2010 5:37:28 PM
If Evolution were true.....then why no recorded human history before 4000 BC?
There are writings that convoy message but not a language. Like this image in Azerbaijan date to 10,000 BC:
Evolutionists claim that man evolved over millions/billions years ago. If there were any truth to these false claims, then man's historical record should span back at least hundreds-of-thousands of years, if not millions
No, evolution doesn't say that. Evolution states that we should find evidence of a common ancestor and change over time and we do.
One of the simplest and best proofs that evolution is a joke, is the FACT that there is NO recorded history prior to 4,000 B.C. The world's history is CLEARY defined by SIX world powers since time began: Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome.
There are tons of empires that where never mentioned by the Bible for the simple reason is the people who wrote it never heard of them, how can you write about something you have no idea exists?
There is no record of a cataclysmic event that destroyed mankind prior to 4,000 B.C. Do you think it's a mere coincidence that the Word of God is so concise on world history?
Aside from the bible what proof do you have of a global flood that killed everybody save for eight?
If I were an evolutionist, I would be extremely disturbed by this FACT.
Prove me wrong! I dare you to show me any recorded civilization before 4,000 B.C. And I don't mean some pottery jug or item that you claim is 14,000 years old--Show me any evidence of civilization prior to 4,000 B.C
We do, you just stick a carrot in your ears and claim that it's not evidence.
2/19/2010 5:48:30 PM
Pottery jugs and other artifacts from prior to 4,000 BC prove that humans WERE around during that time period, genius.

If Evolution were true.....then why no recorded human history before 4000 BC?
We didn't invent a system of writing until about that time. Prior to that, things were passed down orally.
Evolutionists claim that man evolved over millions/billions years ago.
It would be millions. The creature that eventually became a modern human transformed over about a 6-8 million year period, and anatomically modern humans didn't even appear until about 180,000 years ago.
If there were any truth to these false claims, then man's historical record should span back at least hundreds-of-thousands of years, if not millions.
No, because mankind didn't have a written language for hundreds-of-thousands of years. Once you start getting into the millions of years, you reach a point where mankind didn't even have language.
One of the simplest and best proofs that evolution is a joke, is the FACT that there is NO recorded history prior to 4,000 B.C.
You fail, and hard. What the fuck-all does recorded history have to do with evolution, anyway? Scientists don't even use the recorded historical record to study the biological process that is evolution anyway. They wouldn't need to, since it doesn't even apply to it.
The world's history is CLEARLY defined by SIX world powers since time began: Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medeo-Persia, Greece, and Rome.
What about France, England, China, India, and Russia? I guess they didn't define shit, did they. Idiot.
There is no record of a cataclysmic event that destroyed mankind prior to 4,000 B.C.
What does THAT have to do with anything?? And, there are records of things, but they're not written records.
Do you think it's a mere coincidence that the Word of God is so concise on world history?
The bible's nowhere close regarding world history.
If I were an evolutionist, I would be extremely disturbed by this FACT. Prove me wrong!
Burden of proof is on you, since you're making the assertion that evolution is false.
I dare you to show me any recorded civilization before 4,000 B.C. And I don't mean some pottery jug or item that you claim is 14,000 years old--Show me any evidence of civilization prior to 4,000 B.C.
There's plenty, but there's no point in showing you any of it, since you've basically just said you don't want to see any of it.

China and Mesopotamia come to mind.
But more importantly, why is there no "record of a cataclysmic event that destroyed mankind" as of 2400 BC? Noah's flood came then, according to Ken Ham. That should've wiped out "evidence" of civilizations, at least in your logic.
2/19/2010 10:41:30 PM
History does not work that way.
2/20/2010 4:25:17 AM
I'm sorry, but what exactly has the theory of evolution got to do with the advent of writing?
2/20/2010 6:39:07 AM
Because in order for there to be recorded history, writing must first be invented. IT TAKES TIME TO DO THAT.
Also, the Sumerians have been writing since about 7000 years ago, so this is history fail on more than one count.
2/20/2010 7:07:28 AM
"Show me any evidence of civilization prior to 4,000 B.C. "
In your case there isn't any now.
2/20/2010 7:15:23 AM
"There is no record of a cataclysmic event that destroyed mankind prior to 4,000 B.C. Do you think it's a mere coincidence that the Word of God is so concise on world history? "
Right..and that HUGE crater in Arizona isnt proof of a massive comet crash that more than likely extincted 75% or more of the planets life..it was dug out by native Americans 6000 years ago out of boredom.
2/20/2010 8:42:13 AM
Someone on the Yahoo! site said that this is like saying, "Music didn't exist before 1980 because there weren't any CDs". 'bout right.
2/20/2010 8:45:23 AM
In other words, show me evidence of a civilization more than 6000 years old by the definition that it's only civilization if it's less than 6000 years old.
2/20/2010 3:05:24 PM
Sorry, but Bishop Usher got it wrong, with the 4004 BCE thing, but given the unrelibilty of the source material he used (The Bible), is it any suprise...?
2/21/2010 11:02:24 AM
You idiotic human- it's a wonder you can even maintain the barebones basics of human life, let alone think- Wikipedia doesn't hurt you know! Take it from me, the Sumerians were around looooong before that Jesus guy. His mother even stole my title. I'M THE QUEEN OF HEAVEN, DAMN IT! I GET KILLED BY MY OWN SISTER AND THIS IS THE THANKS I GET FOR IT? And I don't even want to talk about what you lot to did to Lily, she's still in tears over it!
2/22/2010 12:17:07 AM
Heckler and Koch?
2/22/2010 9:15:28 AM
I would prove you wrong, but there's a very serious problem with EVERYONE who holds your point of view:
You will never listen - and I mean REALLY listen - to anything that we "evolutionists" will ever say.
Therefore, no matter how we try to explain our position, you will shoot back with your own assumptions and ignorance about what the heck you are actually talking about. :/
...So, I've learned that it's really a waste of time.
Good day, Sir. I wish you luck living life with your head in the ground. And I advise that you try to come up for some air from time to time.

"Despite a full century of scientific insights attesting to the antiquity of life and the greater antiquity of the earth, more than half of our neighbors believe that the entire cosmos was created six thousand years ago. This is, incidentally, about a thousand years after the Sumerians invented glue." ~ Sam Harris <<
Also perhaps two thousand years after they invented beer.

He provides a link to David J. Stewart's website. Clearly we're not talking about a serious seeker of knowledge.

Clovis Settlement in N. America 13,500BP
way before your god was even thought of

Some brains have obviously evolved better than others.
P.S.a pottery jug from 14 000 years ago would kinda prove that there was a civilization 14 000 years ago, don't ya think?
1/20/2011 1:09:48 AM
Lets see... Cave paintings, clear evidence of small settlements, carved statues stone tools. That right there, just screwed you over HK.
5/5/2011 7:53:07 PM
A swing and a miss in the first sentence. That takes some effort.
There are cave paintings in France that are around 20 000 years old.
Erm, those pottery jugs are more historically relevant than that Bible of yours.
