There are tons of empires that where never mentioned by the Bible for the simple reason is the people who wrote it never heard of them, how can you write about something you have no idea exists?

We didn't invent a system of writing until about that time. Prior to that, things were passed down orally.

Because in order for there to be recorded history, writing must first be invented. IT TAKES TIME TO DO THAT.
