Quote# 70819

I have never been to India, but many atheists I have encountered use India, China, and other eastern countries to claim God is unjust for looking to send those people to hell even though they have never been preached to. I always say to them: “what if God sent you to preach to them so they can avoid hell”. They always go away afterwards, because they realize that it might true that they are the reason those Indians and Chinese would be going to hell.

No, they go away because they realize that you're an ignorant fool who can't be reasoned with.

Atheists wouldn't claim any God was unjust as they don't believe there is any god(s).

And of course they just go away from you, as you tripped yourself up on your own lies.

I would go away as soon as that god shit started spewing out of your ignorant face-hole. The only people that want to hear it, are those as stupid as you.

So, you're a mind-reader, able to know what we're thinking when we want to get away from you?

But they might claim, "If God exists, he is unjust because..."

Unfortunately, folks like Sello here can rarely tell the difference between this and "God exists, and he is unjust."

Arguments about non-Christian countries aren't really arguments for atheism. They have more to do with the fact that Christianity doesn't have any real lock on the definitions of words like good, ethical, or moral.

No, they go away because they don't want to be anywhere near a crazy person.

One would then question the wisdom of an all knowing God not revealing himself thus ensuring worship...

> what if God sent you to preach to them so they can avoid hell

You know, in open source world, people often say "why don't you go code yourself that feature that you want, jackass", and I think those developers are idiots. Bottom line is, I don't get the feature everyone would benefit from, and the original developers refuse to discuss the matter. It's not my personal fault that you're not listening to me.

If the developers say "Hmm, that's a good idea, let me put that in the list of wanted features and we can hope someone implements it at some point", we're getting somewhere. You know, developers acknowledging that there's perhaps a need for some improvement.

So let's ask again: whose fault is that according to your religious views, a huge chunk of humanity is going to Hell?

"I have never been to India,"
And it shows.
You have also never contacted an actual atheist. You just pull strawmen out of thin air for bragging rights.

They're atheists. Why would they preach about a religion they don't believe in?.

And why don't YOU, who believe in that religion, go and preach?. The easy answer, I don't want to. Neither do they.

Oh, please. If god really wanted them in heaven, he'd accept them whether they were preached to or not. I'm not the one with the power to deny that to anyone. So don't shift the blame for your god's pointless cruelty onto me or anyone else.

I'm pretty sure at this point most of China and India know who Jesus was. They just aren't interested, anymore than you are in Buddha or Vishnu.

No, Thats one of the many failures in your Religion, that they go to Hell if they haven't accepted your God (usually through some stupid Church proceedure)

Lot of people in China and elsewhere that have never heard it, lot that have rejected it anyway

You claim it's your duty to preach and convert other beliefs, if you can't your God deems them evil.

I have never seen any "preacher of god" wear a halo. I reckon that would cause a positive trend in their recruitment program, but they never manage to acquire them.

Any preacher without a halo is a false prophet.

So your God wants people who don't believe he exists to tell strangers from another culture about him?

Yeah, they don't go away because your right. They're just allergic to stupidity.

So God creates people for the express purpose of sending them to hell unless the western world can save them?

What's so bloody important about us and what's so worthless about them?

"what if God sent you to preach to them so they can avoid hell"

So Gods going to condemn them to hell because I failed to preach to them? That isn't fair. It's not their fault if I don't preach to them.
