And at any rate, countries such as Africa, are mostly going hungry because they kicked the hard working whites out, who had taught them how to grow their own food etc, and they rely now on cannibalism, because they are too lazy to work the lands in most parts of Africa. So the more charities that give to them, they will breed and even more will be starving. The only true way to help a starving country, would be to make them self sufficient again, help them grow their own, stop the cannibalism etc. Helping them to help themselves. If you do everything for someone, they will never manage on their own, if you help them help themselves, they will be better prepared for hard times. And that is the only true answer to this problem.

There is only one documented case of native canibalism in Africa.
In the late 1920s, the French were happily exterminating the Taureg nation. The French burned Taurg crops, destroyed Taureg citys, and stole Taureg livestock.
They drove the surviving Taureg deep into the Sahara
Eventualy some desperate Taureg resorted to canibalism as a last attempt to survive.
Africa is not a country and many of the poor who live there work harder in a day than most priveleged whites work in a month.
As for self-sufficiency, that's the fucking point of most charity work over there. Idiot!
Sarah Palin? Is that you?
But seriously, Africa would of been a hell of a lot better off without white man intervention.
"If you do everything for someone, they will never manage on their own, if you help them help themselves, they will be better prepared for hard times. And that is the only true answer to this problem."
This is true, but guess what? The white powers that governed these countries for most of the 20th century made sure things were that way: they were intent on keeping the african populations in line, a trend which in many ways continues to this day.
I take it you have never heard of the term "structural adjustment", preconditions on loans to third world countries attached to IMF and World Bank loans have you? These structural adjustments typically force the country to deregulate their market and cut back government spending to the bone. Not only that they often have preconditions telling the recipiants of said loans (many of whom are African states) how they must use the extra capital.
From Wikipedia:
Essentially a country is able to export more goods out due to other country’s ability and demand to purchase the previous country’s agricultural good. However, the nation also loses purchasing power which may not be able to be compensated by the increase in demand for its export goods. Ultimately, the agricultural sector of a developing nation will suffer and decline.
An example of this degradation is, as Tiemen and Koeing reveal, Western Mali during the 1980's. Firstly, the privatization of the agricultural sector in creased the inequality of food distribution and inequality wealth in general as some farmers adapted to privatization and flourished and others fell behind. Secondly, in stead of "mining",(using a plot of land until it was depleted of nutrients then moving to a different plot of land allowing the first to replenish), the land like farmers did before structural adjustment, farmers were introduced to fertalizers that left the land nutrient barren and unusable.
These policies turn large swathes of Africa into un - farmable arid zones, the countries infrastructure is reduced to a tiny corrupt executive and a bloated military, starvation and political chaos ensues.
No it's not because they are "funny little brown people", you fucking dolt!
Um, a few fails :
(1) I'm WHITE
(2) I still live in the country of SOUTH AFRICA on the continent of AFRICA
(3) I work four times harder than you, and so do my black/brown/yellow brothers and sisters.
(4) I have never, nor have I ever met anyone who has eaten another human being.
Why don't you take a dose of STFU until you've seen a mother carry her child on her back 10km's in the 35° heat just to get fresh water EVERY day.
The point of 'education is key' is valid, but the diatrite with which you back it up is so filled with fail the point is totally lost.
One African country used "keyhole gardens" to help solve a food crisis. Solutions are out there, often in unlikely forms, but people like you don't give two shits about them or the people in need. So up yours and the carrot in your ass.

Africa's NOT a country, Sarah.
Also, read up on how U.S. farm subsidies are affecting farmers in Third World countries.
Check out the farm subsidy list at ewg.org. It has farm payments broken down by state and individual counties and the individual farmers and amounts they receive. It's positively amazing the amount of welfare, um I mean subsidies, we throw at those poor, oppressed salt-of-the-Earth farm folk.
A few months ago I had occasion to be at a farmer's home, where they raise a certain breed of dog -- lots and lots of them. They had a set up for the dogs that many people in the U.S. would envy.
And that's not even the best part. That would be the veterinary lab, complete with surgical fcailities, they had built. And my fucking tax dollars helped pay for it.
Huh. Hey, honey! Apparently Africa's a country now, instead of a continent! Also, some woman's babbling about cannibalism! You think we should call the police?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
