As long as it [an RPG game] doesn't contain any magic or you can make the distinction and not let it affect you, but I still have issues with magic being in the game, but sometimes I won't worry about it like in Zelda, so it is kind of confusing for me. My bro rented Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, I played it and was very uncomfortable, it isn't so bad as long as I don't use magic in it. I'd have to say it seems to depend on the person, I see Christians play Diablo games and the such, although I can't see why any Christian would play such a game and would NEVER recommend it.

Yes, it is hard to accept that there are imaginary worlds, people and gods that are better and more believable than the Wholly Babbles...

You'd think a Christian would be more supportive of Diablo, as the entire point of the game is to kill the Devil and all that, magic or none...

The Jamo

Yep. That's why fundies don't make good gamers or beta testers.

Developer: So, were there any errors in the volumetric light effects while casting spells?
Fundie: I didn't check. I fear the spell might have adverse effects on my health.

Well, it's wrong unless it's in a game I wanna play, and then god doesn't mind. Those other guys, though--! Straight to hell. No wonder it's kind of confusing. It's kind of crap.

There's a reason it's called Final FANTASY, you know...

Dude. Fuck you.

You don't fuck with Diablo.

Diablo rules!

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is also a fun game.

@Trask: corpse explosion is my favorite spell!

Isn't it everybody's?

I'd love to see what this dude would think of Oblivion, and the whole Christ-like aspect to Martin Septim.

Not to mention the whole DB quests thing.

"What! I have to kill people? Only if they're unbelievers!"

Again, another example of what happens when one takes fiction too serious and why Christians tend to have this problem a lot. Mainly because if they can take the bible serious, they can take any story serious.

If it's fun and entertaining, you won't bother, but if it's kinda boring and you think about it, it's BAAAAAD!

Mine was Whirlwind. I have a friend who plays a Barbarian, put all his skill points in Whirlwind and would just Whirlwind his way through dungeons lol.

@ Man Called True:

True, though one theme of the series is that you sure as hell don't succeed at it.

I find it sad that this guy can't tell fact and fiction apart.
