You mean how no christian can come up with a reasonable arguement for the existance of god? I think it is more reasonable to compare a christian to a flat earther, they are blindly beleiving something with absolutly no evidence to support it!

This has got to be the first time I've ever seen someone who rejects the supernatural based on lack of evidence compared to a flat earther.
Again, rglencheek, that's not how he burden of proof works.

Funny, I always considered religion to be just like a conspiracy theory; it explains everything without proof, where nothing exists.

OK, then, where's your evidence? What are you talking about?

"Arguing with atheists about the overwhelming evidence of Gods existance is like arguing with a Flat Earther about all the evidence that the Earth is round instead of flat."
Most ironic analogy award? Flat Earthers base their conclusions on... a literal reading of scripture.
Also, note the complete lack of arguments for the existence of God in a post all about how we're fools for denying the overwhelming (yet strangely hidden) evidence for God.

@JP:
The burden of proof rests on the person making the assertion, no more. If you are arguing something, then it falls on you to back it up, otherwise it is a fallacy of 'bare assertion' (I say it, hence it is so). This applies to all sides.
So saying "there is no god" requires proof as much as saying "there is a god", hence rglencheek is probably telling the truth when he says "I have seen no atheist ever give a coherent argument that asserts why God does not exist". I choose not to believe in gods as there appears to be no evidence or requirement for them. If someone wants to argue that I'm wrong, I leave it up to them to provide the proof. Conversely, if I want to argue that someone who believes in gods is wrong, it's now up to me to prove it to them.

Your "evidence" only amounts to "the world is complicated." Well, how's about this argument, for ya: if the universe was designed by a conscious being, would it have taken the difficult route which, by the way, leads to errors like cancer and genetic diseases, or done things more simply?

Um... wow
When a Christian says he can find evidence for God, I have to restrain myself from laughing out loud... Arguing with Christians about the underwhelming evidence of Gods existance is like arguing with a Flat Earther about all the evidence that the Earth is round instead of flat. They wont believe you no matter what evidence you present, but only deny anything presented and then ask for more. Of course it is a game anyway to demonstrate how clever they are as we all know the Earth is not flat. The same is true for fanatics of any sort. Have you ever met someone who thinks that there were no lunar landings?... When these nutcases get right down to it, they cannot explain why there is so much apparent evidence against them and why they have so soundly lost the debate in the public forum as shown by numbers of adherents... But, like the lunar landing denier, or the Flat Earther, none of this will ever add up, because their choice is made before seeing any evidence... I have seen no Christian ever give a coherent argument that asserts why God exists and defend it in a public forum. I have never seen an Christian give any indication that they have a genuine understanding of any of the subjects debated. But most of all, I have never seen any Christian give a plausible explanation of why they have so soundly lost the debate on the existance of God in the public forum... some people will nevere be convinced because they dont want to be convinced, and it is as apparent with the Christian as it is with a Flat Earther.

Because your "evidence" is either the bible or, "well look around.."
We want real evidence.
