The difference is minimal between you two.
If the third world middle east was all Christian and the rich and powerful west was all Islam you'd see the same thing. Terrorists and theocracies spring up like weeds over there, yes, because of Islam but mostly the conditions. You'd see just as many Christian theocracies, Christian terrorists, if the situations reversed.
Islam isn't an organization any more than Christianity is. They have schisms within their religion too that make it difficult for them to work as a single, cohesive unit. As for being terrorist, yes, they are prone to having terrorists but it has more to do with the chasm of power between Western and Middle Eastern nations. But why am I explaining this to you? You probably think that all Muslims are the same and nothing will ever change your ignorant mind.
Fundyism is a terrorist organisation. White sheets, hoods with eye-holes, burning crosses, lynchings, social pathologies by the score....
Islam as its practiced in "Islamic countries" is really fucking horrible.
contrary to what you might have thought, the Vatican is actually quite oppressive too, though not really in the same league.
in general, when religious people are allowed to have power over others, its BAAAAAAAAAAAD.

Hey, this terrorism thing isn't all bad. I hooked up with this hot Muslim girl the other week and we decided to get a room and do the dirty. Now, the fact that she was Muslim was very exciting, but I asked her, politely and with some initial reservation, whether she'd be willing to spice things up even more by wearing one of those dynamite vest bombs. She got all excited since, as it turned out, it was her fantasy too, so in the end we were both wearing bombs while we enjoyed the best sex ever! So next time, before you bag the terrorists, just stop and think if perhaps there aren't at least a few things that have improved because of them.
Much like Christianity, and -- dare I say it -- O.T. Judaism.
They all got it from Moses, and they all believe in the Sand Fairy anyway -- so whay do they have the hatred for each other? It's not a good thing, of course, but just imagine if they were all under the same bigoted, dangerous banner. THEN, we'd be fucked.
The Qur'an *as well as the Bible* has some pretty nasty stuff in it.
Those who hold those books dear (but don't commit the atrocities that are proposed in some parts of them) give them power. And wackjobs who act on the atrocious parts rely on the power of the masses (that they believe supports them).
Muslims: ca. 1,500,000,000
Christians: ca. 2,000,000,000
You were saying?
Apply the same rule to Christianity, with it's Inquisitions, Auto-da-fa's, Crusades, witch-trials and burnings at the stake, and I'm with you buddy.
Kick them ALL OUT!
