What the...?
Can anyone decipher what he's saying?
Facts are true because he believes so, but belief is untrue and not a fact, so facts aren't true except when he knows they are true... Whaaaat?

Yup, that pretty much covers what he's saying

Wow, he's inverting causality. He is saying that he doesn't believe things because they're facts, but rather things are facts because this guy believes in them.
It's a whole new world of idiocy...

You know all facts? I consider myself rather well educated and intelligent, and I know perhaps 4 percent of all facts.
That's a part of why life is so interesting; almost every day you learn something new.
Who died and made you ruler of all facts, by the way? What you believe or don't believe is of no importance to my world-view.
You are obviously uneducated about the "fact" of scientific theories.

So ... the reason evolution is not a fact is because you don't believe it? Therefore if you did believe it, then it would become a fact. Sounds neat. Maybe you should try that out.

"If it was a fact, I would believe it, but since I don’t believe it, it is not a fact."
Oh well then there's a simple solution. Just believe it, then it would magically become a fact!
I'm going to postulate that in fact (I believe it so it IS a fact) you are uneducated about evolution. You read things maybe, but you didn't understand them (definitely). Evolution theory requires no leap, the evidence is there.

Please believe that something like this...
...cannot harm you, and remain still while it descends onto you.
If your logic is correct then that steel anvil can't harm you. I'll watch.

Nope, evolution is a fact. We can observe it happening, we have observed it happening, it happens, it's a fact.
How and why it happens, now that's theory.

Evolution is a fact. It happens. Get over it.
What we call the Theory of Evolution is in fact more accurately called the Theory of Natural Selection. This is a theory about how evolution happens, not whether it happens. IF that theory were disproved (currently unlikely, but possible), it would just mean that evolution happens in a different way to how we think it happens.
This is not hard to understand, but I think not enough people are saying it. (ETA: except David B. a few minutes before I did, of course.)

The poetry of D. H. Rumsfeld -
The Unknown
As we know,
There are known knowns.
There are things we know we know.
We also know
There are known unknowns.
That is to say
We know there are some things
We do not know.
But there are also unknown unknowns,
The ones we don't know
We don't know.

"If it was a fact, I would believe it, but since I don’t believe it, it is not a fact. I believe ALL facts"
I had an amazingly stupid argument with a creationist yesterday, but this sentence alone makes you way more stubborn than him.
I know someone must have already said this but "God's existence can't be a fact because If it was a fact, I would believe it, but since I don’t believe it, it is not a fact. I believe ALL facts...Does this make me uneducated about the information about god? No, I have read a lot about it and debated about it before, not just on this website. I know about the issue, I don’t agree it is a fact."

@ Philbert,
Contrary to popular belief Rumsfeld was not talking gibberish when he talked about known unknowns and unknown unkowns. It's proper jargon.

... no, I think that your problem is that you're uneducated about how logical thinking and basic reasoning works. I think you'll need to start there - you have ways to go before it's reasonable to complain about your ignorance about evolution..

I don't think evolution is a fact, thereby it's not. I won't tell you how I came to this conclusion, I just did.
