In answer to "Can anyone give me a legitamate reason to believe in evolution over creation(christianity)?"

nope, and im currently in medical school and i have a ton of anatomy classes and am learning about all the systems of the body and cells and stuff like that....after that class no ONE can tell me theres no GOD!! there is no way that evelution made every single cell to do every thing as perfectly and precise as our bodies do. there has to be a God. If you need someone to give you a reason???...read the bible.

OH!! and another thing....there was a study done a while ago where scientist found out that EVERY SINGLE human being has ONE gene in common...even from way back then....they also found that that gene is not found in any animals...hmmmm??? guess we didnt come from monkeys. (or watever evelutionists say we come from) also, if evelution was true, wats the chance that only one monkey changed into a human being..wouldnt they still be evolving into us today?

Your learning to be a doctor and you are in an anatomy class where you learn "systems of the body and cells and stuff like that"? Yeah, sure you are.

I suppose you're going to stage prayer meetings instead of open doctoral discussions? Look at X-rays seeking out demons? Call for an exorcist to rebuke a cancer?

Lemme know where you get tenured, so that I *never* come visit you.

Aren't medical students required to first off accept evolution as fact, understand evolution and have an advanced grasp of the english language (what with having to read and write scientific papers)?

3/26/2010 12:56:47 PM

Nice medical school you go to. I guess medical students are no longer required to spell anything properly in your school huh?

Heh, I think if you look a little closer you may find that human beings have WAY more than one gene that other mamals don't have... (Or they would be humans dumbass)...

This person may well be in first year of med school. But there will be no second year for this dumb ass.

Doubting Thomas

Note to self: Avoid going to any doctors named "Neena."

3/26/2010 1:02:47 PM

Let me guess: You're getting your "medical degree" from the same Popsicle stand where Kent Hovind got his "Ph.d."

3/26/2010 1:04:05 PM

This medical school you're attending, it's not that small rundown garage beside the Piggly Wiggly, is it?

3/26/2010 1:06:18 PM

Actually I have a fundie leaning aunt who also happens to be a nurse.

This argument is getting old...

Rumpshaker Slim

This person has never been near a medical school much less enrolled in one.

I don't believe you. You obviously haven't touched on the cervix or the human eye, then, because both of those organs have very obvious flaws.

The gene in question is one that arose via mutation during the development of the human species. Its existence demonstrates that humans are all related, but does not demonstrate that we are not related to other primates (the rest of our genome confirms that we are, actually).

I seriously doubt you managed to get into medical school without understanding evolution. I would never want to be your patient if you are truly this idiotic.

3/26/2010 1:26:46 PM

medical school = on-line homeopathic/alternative/complementary "medicine" "school"

3/26/2010 1:29:40 PM

All humans share MANY genes.

Like, most of them.

Really thought, the "to complex to be random chance" argument is flawed to the core.

The biggest flaw of many is the total lack of basis for comparison. You can't look at our universe and claim it's too complex with out there being another universe to compare it too. We have no frame of judgment for any such measurement. For all we know it's very possible that it's physically impossible for our world to exist in any simpler terms.

there is no way that evelution made every single cell to do every thing as perfectly.

Cancer is so perfect.

3/26/2010 1:36:52 PM

"Can anyone give me a legitamate reason," like there aren't any out there and you had to come beggint to Answer Bag to get one.

3/26/2010 1:38:38 PM

im currently in medical school

(or watever evelutionists say we come from)

if evelution was true, wats the chance

neena613 (sic), you're barely literate, Do you seriously expect us to believe you're in medical school? An excellent example of the Dunning-Kruger effect in action, I think...someone too ignorant to realize how ignorant they actually are.

Frank, meet Hawkeye

There are stupid doctors, depends where you graduate from, creationists become doctors. It's scary living with the believers.

I still suspect neena613's a poser, mispelled Evolution without using the "evilution" gambit

3/26/2010 1:44:16 PM

Please drop out of school right now. I don't ever want to come into the ER and have you be my doctor or nurse.

3/26/2010 1:46:18 PM

Doctor Whom

3/26/2010 1:57:46 PM

I don't know what anyone else has told you but having the Discovery Channel on in the background while you drink beer and eat a chicken doesn't count as medical school. And being able to cut the chicken with a knife and fork doesn't count as an anatomy class. Given that you have shown that you have absolutely no idea how evolution works (Especially the claim that one different gene makes us unable to be related; what, did you expect humans to be clones of apes? And the claim that modern monkeys should be evolving into humans) and that you seem barely literate, I suspect that either you are lying or this school you're going to doesn't have very good standards of admission. Either way, you're not to be taken seriously.

3/26/2010 2:01:02 PM

Given your breathtaking ignorance of very basic biology and science, I'd be genuinely shocked if you even managed to become so much as a nursing assistant. Needless to say, I certainly don't think you're in medical school. I do, however, think that you're a big liar--and a very bad one at that.

3/26/2010 2:04:24 PM

> there is no way that evelution made every single cell to do every thing as perfectly and precise as our bodies do.

Let me get this straight: You're going to a medical school, and it is your opinion that human bodies work "perfectly" and "precisely"?

::insert very forcefully suppressed burst of laughter here::

3/26/2010 2:04:37 PM

I didn't know Liberty College had a med. school.
