Quote# 71766

Uh, they have announced that's there's going to be some votes laid on Sunday, and that, that they think that this 72 hour clock that's ticking brings us towards a Sunday when they would be voting on the Sabbath during Lent, uh, to socialize our health care in America for every single American, legal and illegal, and take away our liberty, and do it on Sunday. I think it's the most sanctimonious thing that I have ever seen....

They [liberals] have argued for a long time that there's a right to health care and there's a right to a health insurance policy that each one of us belongs to our very own. And I argue rights come from God.

See America! It is because a democratic majority of your fellow citizens actually voted for this person that explains why you are laughed at by the rest of the world.

Would that be the same God who sent His son to Earth to heal people?

Mister Spak

He's even less coherent than Beck is.

How the fuck are you a Congressman? Please get out of the legislature, now.

Wait..... did you just say that only Christians derserve health care?

Heaven forbid the Republicans actually do their fucking jobs and propose viable alternatives or solutions to the Democrats health care bill but, no, it seems God wanted them to drag their asses on the issue and act like obstructions instead.
Fuck them.

3/30/2010 6:15:31 AM

OH GOD! THEY'RE TAKING AWAY OUR LIBERTY OF DYING FOR NOT AFFORDING HEALTH INSURANCE! AND IT'S NOT GOING TO AFFECT PEOPLE WHO CAN AFFORD IT (LIKE Congressman Steve King PROBABLY DOES) IN ANY WAY! WAAAAHH!

Big Jilm

Well golly gee willikers Batman, God's really been dropping the fucking ball when it comes to helping the poor and the sick. It's almost like he's not even really there.

And God did such a bad job that he got trumped by Congress. Your God really isn't very good at this.

"Take away our liberty"

Manipulative asshole! Honestly, I'd really like to have an official moratorium called on the use of this phrase by politicians for a while. Are people so short-sighted that they don't realise that this phrase is not being used to describe anything anchored to reality? Nothing about the health bill is going to make anyone less free, and that ought to be palpably clear to any impartial observer, even if they don't agree with the bill.

It is just a ruse to manipulate people into feeling outraged at it. How must it feel to exploit people's greatest fears for your own ends?

They [liberals] have argued for a long time that there's a right to health care and there's a right to a health insurance policy that each one of us belongs to our very own. And I argue rights come from God.

And god hates poor people. Just look at how Jesus denied healthcare to the poor and performed healings only for people without pre-existing conditions. Recall how he charged an insane premium to everyone. Only a communist socialist Nazi would give healthcare to those that can't afford it!

Every politician who claims "rights come from God" should be removed from office. No , I mean it, if you don't realize that your people are given their rights by rules of country, state and athority, then leave office.

Become a priest, but even then to make such a claim is either an outright lie or you're stupid

You do realize that in the bible, the Sabbath was on Saturday, right? And what does it matter if it's during Lent or not? Most of you think that Catholics aren't true Christians anyway.

President Obama's Health Reform Bill got voted in, so all your paranoid bluster availed you naught.

Feeling a bit of a tit eh, Steve? Good.

BTW, so good of you to catch up with us in the UK. Y'see, we've had the same thing, called the National Health Service.

Since the late 1940s.

We're still here. The sky hasn't fallen, nor has the Apocalypse happened since then. So Steve, care to justify your opposition to the US having the same, hmmmmm?

"And I argue rights come from God."

Well, if your gawd shows up and, in person from a large flaming cloud, speaks to tell us what those rights are I'll not only respect those rights I'll become a christianist.
Until then, you can shove your Wholly Babble up your ass. Sideways.

Bullshit. You've been commissioned by the insurance monopoly to protect their humongous dividend payouts. You spew irrelevant bullshit to distract from the real issue.
