Breitbart looks around for a waiter and launches into a stem-winder about collusion between Hollywood and the press — the “subtle and not-so-subtle use of propaganda to make a center-right nation move to the left.
“It’s not just the nightly news,” he says. “You’re also getting television shows that reflect the same worldview, where Republicans are always the bad guys. Al Qaeda’s never the bad guy. The Republican is always the bad guy.”

If they weren't being so stupid then they wouldn't be mocked.
P.S. I glanced at this article in Wired magazine, among the pictures there were screenshots of him on Faux news. One of which had a headline that went something like: "What is ACORN up to?". How the hell did this guy get into this magazine?
EDIT: Oh, also, there was a recent 24 episode that had Middle Easterners as the bad guys, how many are willing to bet that this guy knows that and isn't mentioning it for the sake of his argument?
Ever think the country has been moving to the left for decades, and Hollywood has just been following, giving the people what they want? I seem to remember that during the 1950's actors or directors could get blackballed from making movies in Hollywood if people thought they were communists. Now conservatives claim that Hollywood is running the country's politics.
Tropes become tropes for a reason.
Maybe if republicans wern't synonomus with greed and corruption, they wouldn't always be the bad guys.
Haven't you heard of art imitating life?
And yeah, Al Queda are bad people. Which is why I don't want the religious fruitcakes taking over this country.
If they were in charge here, in about 10 years the United States would have a citizenry educated to the level of Mississippi. That's if it made it that long without President Palin starting a nuclear war and frying everyone to a crisp.
"where Republicans are always the bad guys. Al Qaeda’s never the bad guy."
So let me get this straight showing Republicans as the bad guys automatically makes Al Qaeda not the bad guy?
You both want to force your religious beliefs on everyone. Its perfectly consistent to portray BOTH of you as the bad guys.
It's only FOX News that says the country is "center-right". The fact is, like everything else they say on FOX, that's a lie. Just look at the polls, the last election, and the fact that only 20% of voters are registered as Republicans if you don't believe it.
Republicans ARE always the bad guys. Having failed at stopping healthcare legislation, they're now fighting to stop Congress from regulating the banks that got the world into its current economic mess. They start or involve us in unecessary wars. They hate and punish the poor and the sick. They're openly hostile to all atempts to protect the environment and ensure safe water, air, food, cars, etc. They've done nothing in decades to benefit anyone but the rich and the corporations---if ever.
The truth hurts. Stop blaming the messengers in Hollywood,
If this guy is seeing Al-Qaida represented as the good guys, he must be getting Al-Jazeera's action affiliate, because...I mean, c'mon, NCIS, anyone?
24? Oh, but if it isn't John Wayne back from the dead gunning down gays in their own homes and screaming "Duh Muzzl'ms is comin' duh Muzzl'ms is comin'!", it's a Marxist-atheist-gay-....I dunno, koala bear, led conspiracy.
Confused?
