Meanwhile here in the real world, we have a different opinion of China.
And I can assure you, the Chinese are not demons.

This is just sad.
Someone is actually delusional enough to hope for an army of demons to slaughter mankind.
What a loving god you worship.</snark>
4/5/2010 8:33:22 AM
So, you'd rather fight an army of 200 million demons which we're assuming would have some magic powers, possibly difficult to kill, and are totally evil, as opposed to 200 million Chinese men who are human, easy to kill, and may actually have empathy for those they are fighting?
4/5/2010 8:33:46 AM
I don't know why but this reminds me of the "Asian's have no souls" argument.
4/5/2010 8:34:24 AM
I too would prefer an army of demonic monsters over an army of horny chinese men. Thats just common sense.
4/5/2010 8:36:44 AM
Sounds like someone's been up all night playing dungeons and Dragons in their mom's basement
4/5/2010 8:39:49 AM
"....I sincerely hope and pray it's an army of demons and not flesh and blood men..."
No way! Demons are nasty opponents! Even the minor ones, like the babau, have Spell Resistance, Damage Reduction, and at least a half-dozen spell-like abilities. And all of them can teleport at will! A dozen vrocks could destroy a small army, particularly with their Dance of Ruin attack. And a single balor is essentially a one-creature army.
4/5/2010 8:40:22 AM
How is it that in your life, you spend time thinking and worrying about armies of demons? What went wrong? How did you get there?
4/5/2010 8:41:14 AM
Nah, they won't join some demon army. As the Asians get richer and more educated Sum of Sam, they'll just come over here and marry your daughters and granddaughters.
They will rike, I mean like, the American girls velly, velly much.
4/5/2010 8:48:47 AM
All I can think of is Gonzo's line from "Muppet Treasure Island": "He's got demons? COOL!"
4/5/2010 8:49:17 AM
sounds like a perfect reason to rehabilitate man-on-man sex as socially responsible
4/5/2010 9:04:33 AM
THAT'S HORRIBLE! XD
4/5/2010 9:08:15 AM
It's actually a bit frightening to see how these people so casually talk about demons as if they really exist.
4/5/2010 9:13:24 AM
I think the reason this guy hopes to cast his enemies as demons is so he won't feel bad about their being slaughtered, as he presumably would with "real" people.
4/5/2010 9:13:25 AM
As the Book of Revelation is fiction, then yes, sure, let's have an army of demons. A bit more fiction won't hurt.
The rise of China and India? From where? China has been a nation of billions for years and years. India has also been a huge country for as long as I have known geography (which is about 30 years for me, I did not happen to look in a newspaper yesterday and learned this, like you).
So, a man can only have hope if he has a wife? People in China will soon realize that a baby girl is rare, a commodity of sorts, and the status of females will increase. I think it is already happening.
Polygamy is also rising over there. People are able to think outside the box, find a passable solution to a huge problem.
A solution more passable than Goddidit, at least.
4/5/2010 9:16:38 AM
SumSam is right, as "the salvation war" tells us an army of demons has no chance against modern day weaponry...
4/5/2010 9:33:46 AM
China and India can field triple those numbers when it's needed.
4/5/2010 10:21:01 AM
In a twisted sort of way, this is what RR empathy is like. They hope to be attacked by an army of demons so that they don't have to kill Chinese people, apparently.
4/5/2010 11:08:38 AM
Ok, if it´s so, why isn´t there, somehow, an international army of demons, regardless of the sex ratio and the percentage of unmarried men?. You can´t establish a cause and effect clause and then reject it.
4/5/2010 11:16:27 AM
In either event, think of the logistics problems.
4/5/2010 11:36:45 AM
4/5/2010 12:08:59 PM
That's easy. The excess men will just wake up one morning and choose to be gay. That is how you people think it works, is it not?
4/5/2010 12:24:16 PM
What kind of person are you?
4/5/2010 12:29:18 PM
Hal Lindsey was predicting the return of Jesus in the early 1980s so I think what he said last week has no credibility.
4/5/2010 12:49:30 PM
The Chinese are not demons, and there already is a surplus of Chinese men who will never have a chance to marry. Thankfully that last part is slowly changing.
