Quote# 71954

Obama is being influenced by the spirit of the AC.

No other President has shown us so much of the unholy spirit's influence. I was thinking how bad Clinton was, the shame and disgrace he brought to our nation, then I realized he was good compared to what we have in the WH today.
Tax funded abortion is what I keep thinking of.. Illegal immigration reform, Israeli occupation reform, Homosexual rights , it just gets worse and worse for the Nation of America.. But we know that God will not destroy the USA till all of the righteous are taken out of the way .. Just like Sodom..

Just because Obama isn't a bigot like you doesn't mean he's destroying our country.

4/5/2010 9:42:28 AM

I read about the afterlife

"Obama is being influenced by the spirit of the AC."

NOT THE ALTERNATE CURRENT!

You know even if the US is dissolved due to internal conflicts and disaster...

You can always move to another country.

America is not the world you know.

LOl wishful thinking, if anything America is suffering spiritually because of Rapture tards.

Obama is being influenced by the spirit of the air conditioner?

Must be why he's so coooooooool.

Yeah, how come it's only the end of the world when the US gets a liberalish leader. Lots of other countries have had liberal, socialist even communist leaders and the world just keeps turning.
How come?

Turnabout can be considered fair play. This guy aired his complaints, so I'd like to retort using past presidents who were among the more religious conservative...

Let's begin with Zachary Taylor, our twelfth president. One of his first actions, once he was elected, was to delay his inauguration and taking the oath of office, which happened to fall on a Sunday that year (he did it the following day). During his presidency, we started to see that more and more attemped compromises over the issue of slavery started to fall apart, setting the tone for the civil war a decade after he died in office.

Next up, Calvin Coolidge, our thirtieth president and namesake of the religious institution Calvin College. The 1920s were a time of economic optimism, and many of his governmental policies encouraged this perception, even with all of the graft and corruption he worked hard to distance himself from (partly because of the scandals in the administration of his predecessor, Warren Harding). But it was those same policies that caused the stock market crash of 1929 to be as dramatic a problem as it proved to be, resulting in the Great Depression.

I concede that the issues that led to the Civil War and Great Depression were far more wide-ranging than I have said here, but for a quick and dirty counterbalance to the OP, I'm sure it will suffice...

"Obama is being influenced by the spirit of the AC. ...

Ah, so it's the air conditioning that keeps "No Drama Obama" so calm, cool, and collected? Yeah, that makes sense.

Unfortunately, the rest of your post is unadulterated turtle manure.

Yeah except you're going straight to fucking Hell with the rest of us. You know why? Because you're rewriting the Bible; check what it says is in store for those that try it!

Your 'notion' that God initiates divine retribution flies straight in the face of the core crux of Christianity; Jesus died for everyone's sins! Debt is paid.

See you in Hell.

Homosexual rights? Please. Clinton did more for gays in his first year than Obama has done. You're just trying to scare homophobes.

No other President has shown us so much of the unholy spirit's influence.
Funny, it only ever seems to be the Democrats that exhibit the "unholy spirit." Almost like you're attributing religious connotations to your own political leanings...

Naawwwww...

I was thinking how bad Clinton was, the shame and disgrace he brought to our nation, then I realized he was good compared to what we have in the WH today.
Firstly, yes, he cheated on his wife. Is it bad? Yes. Should it have been made into the ordeal that it was, up to and including the impeachment? HELL no. It was a PERSONAL fuck up, and should have been dealt with thusly. And as for the "good compared to what's in the White House today," why is that? What has he done aside from making surre that your HMO can't screw you out of treatment should you get sick? Could it be because Slick Willie's white, and Obama's not?

Naawwwww...

Tax funded abortion is what I keep thinking of..
Which predated Obama.

Illegal immigration reform...
Here's the thing. These people will make it into the country, one way or the other. They are responsible for the nastiest jobs, which no one else will take, and usually work for a pittance, just for the joy of living free. What the hell is wrong with at least making it easier for them to come into the country legally. Or are you worried you'll have to pay your gardenera reasonable wage, and be unable to threaten him with INS?

(Part 2...this draconic post length rule is frustrating...)
...Israeli occupation reform...
Because heavens forbid he takes his mouth of their cock, and talk to them like they aren't poor persecuted people who are just under siege by some unreasonable sand niggers (who happened to have Israel carved out of their home state...why on EARTH would they be upset?)

...Homosexual rights...
Oh, wow, now I see your outrage. He wants to treat the queers and the dykes like PEOPLE?! Oh my goodness, how contemptable. How evil. I say we throw him out in favor of someone who will only support the rights of the rich white man. Fuck everyone else.

...it just gets worse and worse for the Nation of America..
I find it sad that you find equality and inclusion to be bad things.

But we know that God will not destroy the USA till all of the righteous are taken out of the way .. Just like Sodom..
You people and your Armageddon fantasies scare me. Full stop. This wish to see everyone and everything you disagree with, no matter how slight, utterly vaporized fucking terrifies me, and makes me hope, and pray to whatever power may listen that people like YOU are never in charge of anything more sophisticate than a fucking house plant for fear that you will make those fantasies a reality.

Saving the righteous shouldn't take long. There are only 17 of you, and six aren't really True Christians™.

4/5/2010 11:07:52 AM

Disgrace he's brought to the nation?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that would require the opinions of the people in countries other than the US, right? And we're all still just glad its not Bush leading you any more. I don't think that could have disgraced your country any more if he'd set fire to Buckingham Palace. Okay, that would have been a bit of a diplomatic blunder...

Eh, us Canadians tried that with the White House. Those kid of things tend to fall to the wayside pretty quickly.

You do know, of course, that Obama agrees with you guys on same-sex marriage.

As for shame and disgrace brought to our nation, check out other countries' views of Clinton, Obama, and your god-emperor, George W. Bush.

4/5/2010 11:25:38 AM

GodotIsWaiting4U

Clinton was fine. And abortion will not be funded by taxes.

Haven't you people been CALLING for immigration reform? Oh, wait, you want the kind where we keep EVERYBODY OUT FOREVER.

4/5/2010 11:31:46 AM

Clinton bad?. He created a surplus that your beloved Bush wasted in 8 years. And he created, by the way, one of the worst economic crisis in the last 50 years from which we´re recovering once we booted him from the office. At least, don´t be so naive.

4/5/2010 11:34:04 AM

Headache

Tax funded abortion is what I keep thinking of

Why? It doesn't exist in the US, the only so called civilized country without public funding of abortions. Typical for religious asshole countries.

Speaking as a European, I can assure you that Clinton's behaviour did not disgrace your nation, only himself (and that only mildly, really, in the grand scheme of things).

What most people in Europe thought was a shame and a disgrace on your nation was Bush. Seriously.

"No other President has shown us so much of the unholy spirit's influence."

Do you guys just conveniently not remember Bush or what?

"I was thinking how bad Clinton was, the shame and disgrace he brought to our nation, then I realized he was good compared to what we have in the WH today."

You seem to have skipped a President.

"Tax funded abortion is what I keep thinking of."

At least you're thinking.

"Illegal immigration reform, Israeli occupation reform, Homosexual rights , it just gets worse and worse for the Nation of America."

If you don't like it, leave. That's what you told everyone who wasn't a raving fundy lunatic for eight years. Want me to buy your ticket?

"But we know that God will not destroy the USA till all of the righteous are taken out of the way .. Just like Sodom."

Sodom likely didn't exist and appears to be nothing more than a badly cobbled together morality play which you fundies don't seem to be able to see the point in.

Try a different comparison next time.
