Perfect love is outside the bounds of an atheist understanding. Ipropose that it is entirely possible for other deists to understand it, even if they are not 'Christians'. I simply propose that Love, in its perfect form, is ouside the ken of atheists because they do not have it themselves.

It'd sick how the fundies find all these (untrue) reasons to despise us, and then start to act on them.
By making us "lesser", means that persecution is allowed
Love is an emotion with a real-time intellect behind it. I'm not saying Christians can't love but I am suggesting their Bible has a very twisted concept of it, and some of it's followers have lost track of it's real meaning for sure. Their preachers muddy it up with killing,acts of vengance and concepts of ownership.
Well seeing how your idea of perfect love, is reserved for perfect people (ie//whatever "true Christian" you happen to be speaking to) it's impossible to feel "perfect love."
I'll stick with my basic love that's not as exclusive.
"Perfect love" is kissing your imaginary magic master's ass your whole life so that "he" might just feel like letting your shadow into the "happy place" after you die? And offering to kill your offspring to prove your "perfect love" to your imaginary magic master?
Yeah, that's outside my ken. I'm thinking that on the human level, a sort of syzygy or soul-meld with a mate, constitutes evidence of a profound love...as well as, you know, the happy vibe of St. Francis...and self-sacrifice for the sake of one's child(ren).

Also: I propose that Christians can't know perfect love, because they will forever be forced to "love" their sweet Jebus more than their transitory earthly partners. So far, my proposition is better than yours because I actually give a goddamn reason for why I am arguing that point. Jebusites in training would do well to learn from my example.
Perfect Love, like kicking someone to eternal torment for the unspeakable sin of not believing in you while you remain completely hidden.
