@DOS:
"You liberals can't see Eula is sexy and that is why I agree with her."
Tom Cruise is (or was, at least) incredibly sexy, but you know what? I still think he's a nutcase, because a person's physical appearance has nothing to do with the validity of his/her opinions.
"except the bible also clearly condemns this type of love,"
Not that clearly.
"Its not hating them, its diaproving of their lifestlyle/homosexual actions,"
No, it's clearly more than mere disapproval of their actions. Let's say, for example, that an old friend of mine does drugs. I will, on occasion, say something like, "You know, I'm awfully worried about your drug use," but I wouldn't exclude him from ordinary public gatherings just because he uses drugs (unless he is intoxicated to the point of being a danger to himself/others).
Constance merely wished to take the person she was dating to the prom, enjoy friendship and dancing, etc. She did not want to have public sex. If you don't see the difference, there is something wrong with you.
"I doubt the founding fathers considered the prusuit of happiness to include sexual perversion"
By the same token, why aren't you out condemning people with other unusual sexual practices, like foot fetishists, or people who are sexually aroused by blowing up balloons until they pop?
Similarly, if the students really wished to protest, they could easily have done so by not going to the fucking prom.
Hell, I'm not sure why I bothered to go to my prom. I was single both years, and basically ended up standing around awkwardly in a formal dress watching everyone else have a good time with their dates.
