"Evolutionists" are anchored only to themselves in this fleeting life, and are doomed to live without any meaning in their lives beyond their own puny brain power. Their vision is limited to what their retina processes and their 'empirical' brain can comprehend. Beyond this they see nothing. Just as an animal will invalidate something he can't smell, the evolutionist will invalidate something he cannot 'prove' with his brain. Both live in a base, soul-less world of the senses.

And is therefore indistinguishable from fantasy. If we have no way to prove that you're telling the truth and not just lying or delusional, there's no reason to believe you.

The "missing links" was found decades ago. And my life is much fuller than someone who spends it kissing the ass of an invisible deity because they think it'll torture them forever if they don't. Those scientists' "vacuuous(sic)" lives are spent making scientific advances, each generation moving forward further than the last. It's cause of those scientists, who supposedly have no meaning in their lives, that humans went from not being able to fly to going to the moon in the space of one century. When has the human condition been improved by comfortable delusions?

Reality is f***ing awesome, but it is hard work.

This means that the temptation to retreat into some fantasy world - be it based on Harry Potter, Twilight, Avatar or the bible - is often very hard to resist.

Fantasyland is a great place to visit, but a lousy place to live; because ignoring reality doesn't make it go away, it makes it go to hell. It is the people who are determined to live their lives as though what they wished were so were so that are responsible for most of the world's problems. Facing facts, however hard or inconvenient, and responding in a reasoned and rational manner will make everyone's lives better; wishing on a star, a mysterious unifying field of life energy or a magical invisible sky giant will not.

Whether you believe there is more to the universe than what is known to science or not, don't look to it for answers. Because it has none.

Look, we understand that this little god and heaven idea of yours must be real nice to believe. Nothing to worry about, no need to fear your inevitable mortality, the afterlife is guaranteed. But those of us who can find happiness without crumbling into a hopeless dependence on the never never land promises of a fantasy have actual problems to worry about.

Out here in the real world nothing is guaranteed. The only thing I care about with you is your insistence on getting in the way of our actual solutions to actual problems. If just for once you would all shut up and stop throwing a tantrum every time a scientist tries to accomplish something, then we wouldn't have to have these pointless arguments.
