If you are only aware of the evidence (I use that term loosely) for your particular religion, then why dont you learn more about other religions? Learn about their evidence. Then think of what Mark Twain said: "The easy confidence with which I know another man's religion is folly teaches me to suspect that my own is also."

You may believe that, but your religious texts (particularly the OT) make it pretty clear that the ancient Hebrews thought that other gods existed. It was simply that they were not allowed by old "Jealous" YHWH to formally acknowledge them, which reminds me a lot of an abusive husband forbidding his wife to talk with other people. So you fail at your own religion :P

Fact: All religions and their superstitions and mythologies(while having SOME small grain of truth in the less far fetched ideas or philosophies put forth) can be exposed through science, rationality, and intelligence of any sane person or scientist, to be just that... religious mumbo-jumbo superstitious beliefs and mythology.

Fact: You as above stated superstitious mythology clotted Bible or whatever "Holy Book") you follow has been thoroughly skinned, cooked, and eaten wholly by Athiests, skeptics, truth-seekers, and scientists. They have reduced it all to nothing but ancient superstitious mumbo jumbo and supernatural stuffs that reality cannot commitor enact in the natural world. Hence, the many problem passages, contradictions, impossible creation myths and others, have been laughed at for a long time now once studied and dissected... and cannot be trusted as truth or explanation.

Fact: There is no scientific evidence for dead things coming back to life, virgins having babies, a worldwide flood (just to name a few) that could prove it ever happened. Sooooo using your Bible to prove your religion is true and all others are inferior is in fact a weak lame and fallible argument indeed. Try finding another. Bring God to us in person have him work some miracles and prove himself and MAAAAYBE just maybe we may believe... as well as all other religions... but until then you have NOTHING. NOT ONE SINGLE PROOF OR ARGUMENT to say your religion is the credible true one.

CONCLUSION: Your religion is just as credible as anyone else' religion... and that is not that credible when compared to science and reality. Leave faith to be untested... and leave facts and truth to be shown through demonstrations of tests in the scientific world. Or suffer a world of humiliation by rational logical minds.

Please...go back to trolling your bridge. We are not saying he is wrong for having his own opinions and his own beliefs. But what we are pointing out that is ignorant and wrong is that he is using these beliefs and opinions to support his sole theory that was he believes and supports is superior to that which others believe support and practice. This is circular logic and could henceforth be applied to EVERY OTHER PERSON AND THEIR RELIGION. It never ceases to amaze me how almost everyone on this site totally misses the point. It was alledged that Christians reason as the skeptic does when it comes to the claims of other religions but they don't apply the same skeptical reasoning to the claims of their own religion. They therefore hold double standards. Migkillertwo was pointing out that the charge is false because although they join the skeptics/atheists in rejecting other religions, they do so for a different reason. They don't reject other religions because they are skepical of miraculous claims or because they don't believe in God. They reject them because they believe there is reason or evidence for the truth of their own faith, and that obviously rules those other faiths out. Migkiller's comment was perfectly rational. You guys simply misunderstood him.
