Quote# 723

That B[irth]C[ontrol] is a sin is the FACT that scripture in the NT uses the word sin when referring to Christians who sin, the Greek word when translated literally means "to miss the mark."
By not trusting GOD utterly I am "missing the mark." Sinning.
By using BC, I personally don't feel that I trust GOD's judgement on when to use my body to create life. I am telling Him, "I don't want kids now Lord!" Just because it's not my timing never means it's not GOD's.

Putting out fires is also a sin. When you do it, you are saying "I want this fire out now Lord!" Just because you want the fire out now doesn't mean that God does. You are not trusting God's judgement on when to extinguish the fire.

Other sins include: taking medication, having surgery, wearing any kind of protective equipment, and making conscious decisions.

a mind far far away

Let's see god provide for you when the economy goes even further downhill than it is now, there are no jobs, you don't have a job, and you have more kids than the Dugger family. I'll bet you'll be singing a different tune then.

Perhaps God is just a deity of statistics. So, say, if I were on the pill and taking it correctly, it would be >99% God's will that I NOT become pregnant.

Non sequiter.

By using BC, I personally don't feel that I trust GOD's judgement on when to use my body to create life.

Fine, then don't use it. No one is forcing you to so don't try to eliminate it for the rest of us.

Your god is a selfish prick who shouldn't be in charge of a fire hose, much less anyone's life or fertility.

And what if BGH's will is for women to use the pill, else he would have never allowed it to be invented? And, if it's your will not to use the pill, but don't want to stay pregnant, because, you know, you can't afford another child... how can you be sure that it's BGH's will to let your child live in poverty? Presuming much?
