"As far as employment goes - they teach that on the job."
I suppose if it's a minimum-wage entry-level job, maybe.

Looks like fundies are to become the next source of manual labor in the States, after the Mexicans start educate themselves.

Right. I really learned audio engineering on the job, okay. I guess those years in music college and all the related technology, calculus and physics classes for it were moot then.

Of course they do. Everything I know about Fourth Amendment jurisprudence I learned in my first week at the firm.
Methinks Snowbird here doesn't have high hopes for his/her children.

Hasn't this person heard of religious schools? If you want your kid to get a helping of Jeebus along with reading, math, science, etc., send them to a Christian school.

Remember, the bleach is in the white cone-shaped bottle, while the milk is in the boxy translucent one. Make sure you don't get them confused just because you can't read the labels.

Let's see you do any math or chemistry, Snowbird. The key to success in life is a solid, well-rounded education. Took me six years to EARN an associate degree in electronics and a bachelor's in electrical engineering.
Go back to your job as a greeter at Wal-Mart.

Over here it's mostly college students who work at McDonald's. They expect you to be fairly well educated and quick-witted there as well, and as we have quite an unemployment problem, they can pick and choose between applicants.
I received quite a bit of education into religion and Christianity.

What exactly do you mean by "serving Christ" and how has it helped anyone succeed?
