"5) UFO abductions have been stopped in the name of Jesus."
If I were an alien I'd run my ass back to my UFO too if some crazed redneck started shouting at me and beating me with a Bible.
"UFOs are not metal spaceships from other star systems."
No, that's not exactly likely. Possible, I suppose, but unlikely.
"Many of even the secular researchers are beginning to see that UFOs come not from another physical location but from another dimension."
I've heard this before. I've only heard that this dimension is Hell from fundies such as yourself, however.
"Christian UFO researchers believe UFOs come from the realm of spirit and are demonic."
That's because they're already delusional to begin with prior to researching something that's known to attract some mighty strange ideas. Strong tendency toward delusional thought combined with a fertile field of such is going to lead to all kinds of nonsense.
"There are many testimonies of attempted UFO abductions that have been stopped by the person calling out the name of Jesus."
I don't keep up on such things but I can honestly say that I've never--never--heard such a thing.
"(See Charisma magazine April 2001 page 46.)"
I certainly hope that citation contains more than one example and isn't from a fundy publication to begin with.
"There are many recent books that explain UFOs from a Christian perspective."
There are all kinds of books that explain all kinds of things from a "Christian perspective." There's even a local fundy radio show that has "News and Politics from a Christian Perspective." As far as I can tell, this "Christian perspective" simply means "far right wing Evangelical Christian" and nothing more.
In other words, you don't speak for every Christian and Christianity has no view on such things unless you want to count Ezekiel's encounter in the Bible with what some call a UFO.
